The OP literally has Orr's very brown-haired photo in his avatar and you still put him on team Blonde? How would an all-time blonde team do against dark haired?
Something like
Hull-Gretzky-Kurri
Lidstrom-Orr
Vs.
Lemieux-Crosby-Jagr
Bourque-Harvey
Just to start with… I’ll try to add to this later if anyone wants to join![]()

Lately I’ve seen people here putting together all-time teams from different countries, lefties vs righties, and so on. So I decided to do a rather silly compilation that is a bit more challenging. Create teams based on the ancestry of former and current players (Predominantly NHL’ers)
In the past, it was not uncommon for countries like Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and others, to bolster their national teams with predominantly North American players who had ancestral connections to that specific country. Italians for example were known to have a lot of “Oriundi” players who had close ancestral ties to Italy. They acquired citizenship more easily than immigrants not of native extraction
I have kept it within two generations (Parents and Grandparents). This means that at least one parent or grandparent of the player must be a native of the country the player is representing.
A player can not be born in the country he is representing, although I made a few exceptions for players born in so called non-traditional hockey countries.
There are of course players that have roots in several countries, so I used them where I thought they were needed the most.
Some examples of teams:

As a former blonde child, Bobby Orr is what almost all of us end up looking like - even Stamkos and Nylander currently have hair you'd have to call "brown" if you were holding it up to a swatch.
I don't believe I've seen any conclusive childhood photos of Ken Dryden, but out of the very best goalies of all time, he seems likely to have been roughly that variety of human being before becoming another mousey brown adult like the rest of us.
Well, Northern Ireland (UK), unless you simply mean the island of Ireland...Owen Nolan was born in Belfast, Ireland.
