To make matters worse, which doesn’t seem possible, these are all home games they’re blowing too. Haven’t even had a stretch on the road.

We’re hear the nonsense about getting closer on the road and not being as tight on the ice but it could get even worse.

Keep in mind, holes at this point in the season often aren't dug out of. Avs need to go something like 42-25-10 to finish out the season to hope to be the 8th seed. That's not easy. With today we've already given away 1/6 of our losses for the year.

I think if we just keep playing like we have and make 0 adjustments we'll be fine. Lots of golf available while all those tryhards are in the playoffs.

Next time a defender is tired, sees a puck go out of play and the refs miss it, they should just score an own goal. Then we could challenge and you don't get a penalty for clearing it over the boards.

I still think this is a fluke result. The Avs are very competitive with the Ducks if MacK and Makar bring their A game.

With a fully healthy roster I think the Avs could even take a 7 game series against the Ducks.

Even with the depleted roster the Avs have played more than well enough but one team is getting goaltending and the other goalie can't save more than 3 shots in a row.
