Nice ceremony, lets hope the boys can get up for the game.

Looking forward to seeing Shore debut, and a part of me wants to see Berube in net.

For those who may have missed Luc's ceremony, he went around and personally thanked damn near every person in the whole freaken arena.

I'm not sure if it was Robitaille's ceremony or another player's, but his was certainly one of the reasons the NHL put a time limit on pre-game celebrations.

I dunno man. I figured a public warning about flaming any side of "the Blake debate" was better than an infraction, especially now that it's over, but if you want to keep pushing buttons...

Uhh by the way, not that I rely on the fact around a bunch of guys, but I'm not a man. I'm a long time King female fan. Very long time.

Ducks fan in peace. I'm trying to figure out why Parros was there and I have no idea. He and Blake never played together and I have not heard of them being great friends or anything, nor is Parros a big part of the Kings organization or anything.

I would definitely say he is more well-known as a Duck, but still he got a nice ovation. The guy had limited talent, but he is intelligent and plays a hard, honest game.

He's alumni. Drafted by the team. Played a season. I don't think it's any more than that. I think they put a call out to see who of the Kings alumni would like to come to Blake's jersey retirement and such and he came. Other than being background filler, he didn't do any speeches or anything.

George Parros did play for the Kings before he went to the Duck. He is a college educated guy.
p.s. he used to let his hair grow out real long. Then have it cut and donated to a good cause.

What have you been for longer? a Kings fan or a female?

Well, mother nature caused me to be a female and my ex caused me to be a King fan.:naughty:
and no, I'm not interested in another man. I wanna watch someone sleep on the sofa, I prefer my cat. So no one gets the wrong idea. I'd just prefer it to continue like I'm just one of the guys.

Yeah, I knew all that. He also was a mentor for Kevin Westgarth as both of them attended Princeton. Westgarth is one of the most intelligent and nicest guys I ever player poker with in Las Vegas.

Did you guys see how fat Kyle Calder got? Lol

Also pretty cool to see guys like Parros, Normstrom, Bylsma, Army, etc. (Wish Frolov came though..)
