With Andy Welinski making his NHL debut tonight, all of our picks in this draft have played in an NHL game. They are:

Rickard Rakell (our 1LW)
John Gibson (starting goaltender)
William Karlsson (currently Vegas's 1C)
Joseph Cramarossa (played in the NHL with us last season, claimed by Vancouver, now apart of the Flames' AHL team)
Andy Welinski (making his debut tonight, hopefully will be a bottom pairing defenseman)
Max Friberg (played a few games with us, got traded to Montreal for Tokarski but never played there, now in the SHL)
Josh Manson (excellent Top 4D)

How many teams have had this before?

Kudos to the Ducks scouting staff. That's super impressive.

The Leafs almost did it in 2006 but not with the high end talent of Rakell and Gibson.

Super impressive to have that. Getting even 2 impact players in a draft is a home run for any organization.

Not only have they all played in the NHL, they all played their first game with Anaheim. I think that's way more rare.

I believe the Flames 2011 draft have all played in the NHL as well. 5 players instead of 7 though.

Tyler Wotherspoon
Johnny Gaudreau
Laurent Brossoit

4/5 in the NHL right now(Wotherspoon with the Heat in the AHL at the moment)

Tampa didn't have many picks, but in 2011 we have:

1st - Vladislav Namestnikov (our 1LW)
2nd - Nikita Kucherov (our 1RW and top 5 winger in the league easily)
7th - Ondrej Palat (only reason he isn't our 1LW is because Namestnikov is there - one of the best two-way wingers in the league)

We filled it out with Nikita Nesterov in the fifth (played over a hundred games for us before we traded him), Adam Wilcox in the sixth who never panned out for us, and Matthew Peca in the 7th who is probably the first call up if we need a C from Syracuse.

If only Friberg would of scored in one of his 6 games all Ducks players from that draft would of now picked up at least 1 point in the NHL aswell.
