As a Duck fan I agree that's closer to a Lindholm rental than Manson. Manson I think would be more in the range of a 2nd + Foote level prospect.

The lightning don’t have a second or for that matter a third or fourth in the upcoming draft. I believe this is the reason why the first was considered. But to me, Manson doesn’t move the needle enough for Tampa to give up it’s only a pick in the forthcoming draft let alone with Cal Foote.

Easy yes for Ducks, I'm not sure if TBL would do that. They are in a unique position to do it as they are legitimate cup contenders primed to repeat. I think it's too much for a rental though
