Agreed, was also something talked about long. Score his 1000 game was in question.

So no reason to be upset that he didn’t get it in Anaheim, sounds like it wasn’t something that was very important to him.

Getzlaf is the only Duck with 1000 or more games.

He probably called up Pat and told him he’d go light on Trouba if Cam didn’t make it to 1000.

Yesterday Fowler mainly played with Faulk and their on-ice numbers were pretty awful. Today he's playing with Parayko and they've been very good.

Fowler and Faulk are two OFD's. That pairing was bound to fail, especially if they're not sheltered via OZ start%. Fowler with a better defensive talented partner was always a good outcome. It worked well for Fowler with Manson, Gudbranson, and Hakanpaa.

You all said that this guy is a scrub and a flower. Yet you are not happy with a 2nd? As if the other team is going to give you a first because of sentimental value

I am not one of those.

Getting a 2nd round pick and a 22 year old prospect that had been playing in the ECHL for Fowler and a 4th round pick isn't anything to be happy about for me. Also I wanted to see him play 1000 games as a Duck.

His trade request was public not sure why people here expected a good return for a 33yr old dman whose numbers have been garbage

Add all that up and we should be stoked we got a second

I really can't understand, now that Cam is gone, why some people can't just let it go and leave him alone FFS. Nothing he did here cost us a Stanley Cup and I'm pretty sure he didn't run over anybody's dog either.
He was a good teammate and professional his entire tenure and a good player for a long time as well. Gets way too much hate. Should be thanked and applauded for his time with the Ducks. He better get a massive applause when he returns.

Gotta imagine Fowler was mailing it in a bit here this season since he was ready to move on
Not sure if he was technically mailing it in but the stress of knowing your moving, at some point, while trying to play well in a role you should not be in is probably pretty mentally draining. At this level the mental game is so important.
