Is he any good?So that's $3.15M towards the cap to reach the bottom.
Yeah it’ll be tough to recover from that 4thDude is cooked, Anahiem would have been better off getting Schmidt for free
Ducks actually need to reach the cap floor. Not taking stupid dumb ass long contracts due to youngsters getting theirs soon. This is a stop gap in salary and players.Lower body injuries destroyed him. Was a rock for 4 years in Pitt. Glad he got his Cups.
Don’t really know why Anaheim is paying this in this economy

Ducks have basically 3 second year Dman in Mint, Lacombe, and Zell next season. Dum would pair up with one of them as would Fowler/Gudas. He'd likely be asked to play the RHD side.Ducks actually need to reach the cap floor. Not taking stupid dumb ass long contracts due to youngsters getting theirs soon. Surprisingly serviceable in a bottom pairing role after hearing so much negativity around his game from Pens fans.Is he any good?
All that for a measly 3.15 million a year? Sold!Surprisingly serviceable in a bottom pairing role after hearing so much negativity around his game from Pens fans.
I think it was a case of him playing too high up the lineup in Pittsburgh .Keep him on your 3rd pairing and you should be happy.
According to Verbeek they want to challenge for a playoff spot lmaoThey can recoup that pick at the deadline easily even if Dumo is a shadow of his old self. In the meantime they add needed cap and get a vet defender to help all the young defensemen they have out.
There’s no real downside here.
Seattle needed space for Ryker Evans, who is a good one.

Sounds like an amazing return... not making the playoffs and upgrading the pick an entire round...Reminds me a bit of the Devils giving up a 2025 5th to get Colin Miller last offseason. Season didn't go to plan and they flipped him for a 2026 4th at the deadline.
insurance in case ryker evans wasn't ready he's no longer needed.Didn't Seattle just sign him last year? Easy come easy go I guess
