Confirmed with Link: [ANA/NYI] Oliver Kylington for future considerations

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
There's our 7th dman. Isn't he signed for next year as well? Maybe not.

I liked him with Calgary and was bummed for him when he was dealing with his psych issues. He has some upside if he can recapture some of that form.

Talented player but really redundant to have another (4rth)finesse offensive LHD. Plus we swap from a 6’4” 207 pound player to a 6’ 183 one which means even more opportunities to bump our goalie. I’m hoping this is temporary and for the Gulls since there isn’t any good waiver options today.

This is so he can be the 7th D at the NHL level and get paid to watch the team play. Also, he can keep the d-men with the Gulls stick with the Gulls, since it's only youths we can bring up. We needed this buffer d-man for the rest of this season to allow all of our youths to play at the NHL and AHL levels.

Future considerations are not specific and can be almost anything as long as something goes back to the other team.

I would guess a lot of them get fulfilled at the draft when trades spots.

John
When you say it can be almost anything, could even be food lol. A lot of people like mexican food and you can get really good authentic mexican food in the Anaheim/Santa Ana area and they can put it in a cooler with dry ice and ship it to the other teams GM. Can't really get that quality of mexican food on Long Island.

This is my view of it too, as long as he's used as the 7th I don't care. Dumo was moved so all the kids could play, this trade SHOULD be to have a 7th d we don't have to call up from the gulls

Well it can’t be for cash. Kris Draper made sure that wouldn’t happen again.

Do future considerations actually have any true value, at all? I thought it was just a place holder so something is "technically" offered from both teams.
