Interesting signing after Hagelin didn't work out last year. I think he can fit in nicely though, was good with Carlyle back in Toronto.

wtf are the ducks doing? Why didn't they go after any big free agents? This is their window of opportunity and they are signing guys like raymond?

Raymond and Kesler had chemistry in 2009-10 and 2010-11 before Kesler became a puck hog. Raymond had a 25-goal, 53-point season in 2009-10. That said, it's been six years since then. He also had nineteen goals and forty-five points with the Leafs, so Carlyle managed to unearth his dormant abilities in 2013-14.

I would be shocked if Carlyle doesn't try these two on the same line.

Every team has bottom end guys. Raymond isn't being brought in to play on Getzlaf's line.

One of the most frustrating players. Can sometimes really contribute. Other times, drinking games are created around the number of times he gives up the puck and falls on his butt.

2010-11 is the year of the 41 goal puck hog Kesler. They were great together in 2009-10, but that's a long time ago, and Raymond is far from the same player he was back then.

probably will be on anaheims first line at somepoint in the season

I guarantee that. And not as a mid game line mixup, he will start the game on their top line at some point this season. Probably while this team is again spending most of the season out of the playoffs looking to catch up.

He and Grabner are twins I swear to God. All the talent in the world to be 1st line wingers ...............and they just go BLANK at the worst times.
