Lots of depth but also a bit of an awkward spot where they would be an injury or ailment away from having an untested prospect (Suchanek or Clang) as backup at the NHL level or constantly up and down. It obviously isn't ideal that Suchanek has been injured but it allows them to sign Dansk who is a more natural fit to ride the bus up and down the highway as the #3 guy. Then you keep Clang in the AHL where he belongs right now, Suchanek as well when he returns.

Gibson is durable in a sense that he is able to play a starters workload of games each year and get shelled on a bad team most nights. But he also tends to end up with a lot of those day-to-day type ailments from the strain of said heavy workload. The Ducks #3 goalies have been up and down from the AHL a ton in recent years, even just for a day or two of riding pine.
