probably the standard suggestions that Ducks fans are annoyed with like Pouliot and Yakupov. Maybe some retention on Pouliot. If you want an interesting prospect you could have Khaira. He's popular to Oil fans as a big hard nosed checking liner type. He's a prospect, but at least his expansion exempt

I think I would be ok with just a Despres/Yak swap tbh.

The only way Despres is traded is if Murray has decided to keep Fowler. I just don't see that happening.

I would do Despres for Pouliot straight up if EDM retained on him so his cap hit matched Despres.

Depres plays the off side frequently. Would be your best RD if he was on the oilers.

This explains the additions of Holzer, Guenin and Schultz... I mean, Anaheim seems to have at least six top-pairing guys on their roster so they obviously need some bottom-pairing guys as well. :handclap:

Thing is, both Guenin and Schultz are on 2 way deals. They're to help the Gulls out and maybe fill in as 7 D if someone gets injured.

Right cause Lindholm, fowler, vatanen, depres, Manson, Theodore, montour and larsson are bad. Ducks never needed to tank to draft well. Most of these are way better than anything the oilers have lmao

It's just some sarcasm from a Buffulo fan.

holzer is pretty much the same level player as stoner/bieksa at a fraction of the price, ducks would be far better off with him as the 6 and both of them gone

those players are all about 7-10 on the organizational depth chart, and the ducks want a competitive team in san diego, so your comment is useless

And yet you listed a d-man that was drafted higher than any d-man Oilers have drafted since Paul Coffey... And that was 36 years ago....

You could take Lindholm out of that statement and it wouldn't dilute the point.

He's not the same player as either of those guys. Holzer is a great 7D, but Stoner is a legitimate 3rd pairing guy, and Bieksa as 4/5. If contracts were all equal, it's clearly Bieksa, Stoner, Holzer.

Perhaps... But including Lindholm in a statement like that is... Well.... :help:

Ps. Edmonton haven't either drafted a d-man as high as Fowler was drafted since... Paul Coffey.

If I'm not mistaken, the oilers could have drafted lindholm. But they drafted Nail Yakupov instead. Not the ducks fault they know how to draft players.

Ummm Nurse? He was drafted nearly as high as Lindholm.

kb is in no way a 4, at best he's a 5 but that's pushing it, he makes far too many mistakes to play as anything more than that
