LA broadcast crew was fapping away for sure. Apparently one of the first things he said upon arriving in the capital of crass was to tell everyone to circle 12/28 on the calendar.
Really? Why? That guy was treated better than he deserved by Oil fans and well paid by the team. WTF does he have to be bitter about? He was the after game interview but when I saw his puffy face come into focus I knew I couldn’t bear to hear any of the words that were about to come out of his stupid mouth so I switched off.
And Byfield looking like a kid playing gangster with his throat slitting gesture. Oilers need to take that personally.

Kuemper had by far the more difficult night though. Skinner didn't come up with one big save. Case in point would be the Kings 3rd goal and then the similar chance for Hyman that Keumper made the save on on.

Not taking this game seriously because this ALWAYS happens the first game against the kings. Refs completely side with them to give those fans hope that this year is different.

Would rather play the Kings in the first round then Vegas or even the Casucks. Its getting monotonous but I don’t see the Kings as much of a threat.
Kind of had enough of this inter divisional playoff crap the first 2 rounds, it was better before. Get sick of seeing the same teams play each other most years, see them play each other enough in the regular season.

I seldom do this but a rare time I'll critique a McD game. Really only noticeable on PP. Quiet game, forcing plays, giving up puck. Not a great game from Hyman either. Seemed like what the OIlers were getting was mostly from Drai line.
Oilers have been tempting fate with just good enough efforts for a couple weeks and winning close games. Bit them today. Stellar work from the D, some of them, though. Thought Emberson, Kulak, Ekholm had decent games, not really the rest...
