Worst part is all the “fans” that will jerk it to No Hands Foegele

Dude did jack shit here for the first two years.

Was only productive in a contract year and was only productive when playing with Draisaitl.

Him and McLeod couldn’t produce on the third line with each other.

But of course he’s having a decent year. Ex-Oilers can’t wait to produce elsewhere.

Because thats a penalty to for a goalie to take his mask off intentionally. The rule below the Kings had the puck.

The NHL rulebook covers helmets in 9.6:

When a goalkeeper has lost his helmet and/or face mask and his team has control of the puck, play shall be stopped immediately to allow the goalkeeper the opportunity to regain his helmet and/or face mask. When the opposing team has control of the puck, play shall only be stopped if there is no immediate and impending scoring opportunity.

When a goalkeeper deliberately removes his helmet and/or face mask in order to secure a stoppage of play, the Referee shall stop play as outlined above and assess the goalkeeper a minor penalty for delay of game. If the goalkeeper deliberately removes his helmet and/or face mask when the opposing team is on a breakaway, during the course of a penalty shot or shootout attempt, the Referee shall stop play and award a goal to the non-offending team.
That's if the mask isn't already loose which it clearly was in this case.

This team won’t sniff at a cup if Henrique is 3C. -4 tonight, routinely gets demolished at evens. Him and Skinner are worse than useless out there , they actively hurt the team.

Knob gives zero f***s about correct forward usage, as long as the defensive side is ok he'll just ride McDraiHyman to wins.

On the "credit where credit is due" side:

-Kopitar is still a great player at age 37. Let's hope that Mc-D and Drai will follow the same genetic path and stay great for a very long time.

-Excellent game for Byfield--you have to give younger guys some rope. Looks like it is paying off for the Kings.

Jeff Skinner was rightfully benched at the end of the game and will likely sit tomorrow.

They need to identify a 4th line center to replace Ryan and talk to Jeff Skinner's agent about finding him a new team.
Was saying during the game how awful J Skinner was in the game. 3 turnovers on one shift in 2nd period, two in his own zone, and then he's on the bench laughing. People really wonder why this clown isn't getting minutes on a contender club?

Kapanen showed Skinner it is possible to get jam in bottomsix and be all around it. Was a star in the game, and deservedly. J Skinner still not happy with Christmas.

I was a defender, but Jeff Skinner was just a total miss. Forget just being poor defensively he flat out can't play.

Arvidsson is still better than Foegele and will show that before the end.
Maybe. Even if his play improves he has to stay health for more than 18 games in a row.

Tell me you didn't even watch the game. There isn't a coach around that wouldn't bench Skinner on that lol no effort game.

I watched a game where the coach put Henrique -3 out in a game and lost the game because of it.

This coach doesn't know what he's doing offensively he just relies on sheer talent of his top end players but strategy wise .... lol. What the f*** was that.

Not my fault Skinner
And had the oilers won in OT the other guy would’ve had basically the exact same save percentage, I know it’s your thing to rail on him, but neither goa,ie was posting a good save percentage tonight and doesn’t mean much in a game like that.

To save time and thought, win or lose every game blame Stuart Skinner, Darnell Nurse and the officials, then things will be more streamlined

Not my fault Skinner
Hey tambo, I know you're still upset about Podkolzin, but Jarred Smithson isn't going to save this team tambo.

For those not in the know, he built this handle in honor of tambelilini after he was hired. So his thoughts come from that lense

Nice work tambo

Hard to fathom a 4 goal loss when Kings had only one line going. Fiala plays like he's in the Swiss league and Kempe missing in action in this game and Kopitar and Danault just looking old. Kings didn't even have much and still won. Another game given away by Skinner just not stopping anything.

Jeff Skinner should have signed in Toronto or Florida where he would have been given a shot to score some goals, Knob has no interest in that here, let that be a cautious lesson to UFA wingers who think they'll come here and get McGoals, you're not going to get looks with McDavid.

Not my fault Skinner
I wonder what the threshold is for him to not sound like annoying haters?

How many games in does he need to hit that vaunted NHL average of 900? 3/4 of a season?

It’s one thing to post a shitty save % every 10 games but Skinner has a 890 on the year behind the best club in the league. The only reason we aren’t the best is best of not my fault Skinner himself

Ultimately it’s the first game post holiday, things were messy.

At least we didn’t blow a 4-1 lead in the final 5 minutes like Vancouver just did.

Meh, Oilers outplayed them for the most part and got outgoalied and I say that as a backer of Skinner. Onto the next one, I'm not sweating this loss one bit.
One point of aggravation is why Henrique, who had a poor game, is out there in OT. That was certainly.... a choice.
