The way things are going, Russia will be back, but will be playing under the Ukrainian flag.

The women's U18 tournament wrapped up earlier this month. Canada won that one. US was second. So the men's U20 tournament is the second of three (if you're using the Hlinka as tournament #1) played so far.

Things is though, that it is so hard to be dominant internationally anymore. Canada is doing it again, but in a couple years if they don't the same few posters will bring out their math and spout how Canada is losing ground, and that it is not fair that there are this many Canadians being drafted 1st round.
Canada will always produce elite players and challenge internationally. That isn't changing.

Totally agree. Only major threat would be USA on paper.. and there are three best on bests coming up. My guess is Canada wins 2.
