Just realized that Ryan Johnson is the most NHL experienced player on the ice for the Sab-mericans tonight. 41 gp is tops among all of their players.

Aren't there supposed to be minimum requirements in preseason? Like you have to have x number of veterans in each game? Or maybe the Sabres going to Europe exempts them from the requirement?

I think there are and they had to give us an exemption.

It seems like there is an exemption here because they don't have the 8 veterans who played at least 30 games in the NHL last year (only 1, RJohnson) and no one who has played 100 NHL games as a skater.
