Fantastic effort from the Amerks tonight, despite the results. Loved the hustle even when they were down and out. The feed from NO to Jobst was sublime.

If the can muster this level of play all season, the Amerks will be a force to reckon with. And they don't even have their full compliment. Rousek, and probably Kulich and Levi will be back to join them soon.

They went toe to toe with an NHL squad tonight and more than held their own. Good stuff.

That's really encouraging about Ratzlaff. I'm glad they gave him the opportunity. You could tell the talent is there even if the numbers didn't back it up last season. He was on a brutally awful team. That fact that he put up a .905 is impressive.
