Actually it is. There are a group of people out there that just love the excitement of the whole thing for some reason. I have several friends who do it and its almost like a version of the Super Bowl for them. They all tend to be women and they get up at the butt crack of dawn to go. It' the craziest thing I've ever seen but they have a ball apparently.
It doesn't seem as "big" as it used to be. I remember some malls and stores used to open at 12am. People would be all amped up for it. I had a relative who did it one year (2006 or 2007?) just for the experience. She said you pretty much spend all your time in lines or traffic and get very little actual shopping done. I was happy I chose sleep over that

Nothing ever happens.

Those 4 teams have all been in the finals except for one of them. I can't for the life of me remember which one.

Games like last night are classic Sabres- they actually outplayed the Wild and just got goalied. They’ve looked good lately, though (watch the 10 game losing streak commence).
We are back into an era where goaltending actually matter a lot more, because of the giant gap in starters quality.

We currently have starters netminder from 930 to 870, that huge

Surprises for me:

I' like the B's and keep reading they are shit, yet there they are in a playoff spot.
I wrote of Ovi and Caps... my bad!
I didn't think TB would be a playoff team
Cheering for Buffalo to make it

WPG and Minny in 1/2.. didn't see it coming
CGY ahead of my Oil.. didn't see it coming
Col in a Wild Card feels low to me

I say Edm replaces Calgary and comfortably gets into top 3 in Pacific. I say Buffalo ends their curse. I say B's make playoffs despite a down year in forward talent.

Is that even still a thing? I don't know anyone who still goes out on black Friday shopping and haven't for probably 17 or 18 years. Online shopping pretty much killed it. I'm all set with crowds so I've never done the whole black Friday thing.
I dunno but this was a year ago (not sure if its an older video posted a year ago)
online shopping has likely reduced the numbers but nothing like having cash and wanting to grab something right away.

gotta remember most of these people are likely not mentally stable, Ive seen people in videos dive over sometimes even children just to grab whatever was on the pallet full of items. at times it feels like they dont even know what it is just want it before its gone

Cool cancel the reason of the season. :sarcasm::naughty::laugh:
1200 + games a season.

800 aren't worth 3 hours of anyones time who ain't playing/coaching.
High lights and score checking are for following regular season.

Actually watching entire games is for play offs.

Super annoying being in that bubble death zone where we're 2-4 points out from WC status but really, it's 8+ points out because teams above us are winning. Just ugh.
Hopefully Ullmark, Gaudetter and others give us a good showing down the stretch.
