American Thanksgiving standings - 11/28/24

I see the standings mostly holding up except for one of Detroit/Buffalo/Ottawa overtaking Boston and Edmonton moving into a playoff spot over one of Calgary/LA.

Games like last night are classic Sabres- they actually outplayed the Wild and just got goalied. They’ve looked good lately, though (watch the 10 game losing streak commence).

Wings were "in" last Thanksgiving and didn't make. They are "out" this Thanksgiving, so obviously they make it this spring...

I think that might be your playoff teams in the East, though I’m sure seeding will change. I guess Buffalo can make a run and overtake Boston, but I’m not so sure.

I definitely think Edmonton is in for any one of several of those current teams in the West.

We should just root for one of us to make it.
