I've always wanted to have it, but just can't justify it. On average, I might order one package a month from Amazon. If I were doing 2-day shipping each time, the $7.99/month would just about pay for itself, but I usually just do free shipping, since it's not a big deal to wait 7 days instead of 2. If I would use the other services (movie, TV show and music streaming), it might help, but I wouldn't, so I can't really justify paying it only to get my packages a little earlier. One of these days, I'll likely sign up (though I've been telling myself that for years now).

get the prime credit card. 5% back on all purchases, membership pays for itself with Christmas shopping.
No, it doesn't. The Amazon card gives you 3% back even without an Prime™ membership, so you are effectively getting 2% extra with Prime™. At $119/year, you would need to spend literally almost $6000 dollars for it to pay for itselve. :shakehead

I could see a family using a lot of Subscribe and Saves easily spending that much. I buy a lot of shit, so I probably spent that much on Amazon last year.

It's not dissimilar from most credit cards with annual fees, people should be aware of the breakeven point, otherwise you're paying for a card that looks nicer.

Who here has Amazon Prime? I just signed up for it. I don't know why it took me so long to do this  Going to be worth it.

I dumped Prime. Find their options are too few and they advertise stuff and fail to mention--Oh yeah--not included with Prime

I use it for twitch prime so I can get in-game loot, also I went to the US and got a discount at Whole Foods too. Extremely worth it
