I only started following the Als again thanks to @Adam Michaels and his regular posts on this forum. I had given up completely.

Had an outing tonight and couldn’t watch but am so happy they pulled it off, especially that so many of you are enjoying the win. This city was starved for a championship and the Als against all odds, delivered. Congrats! Gonna be a fun week as we anticipate a parade.

Man I'm so happy I can't sleep, just finished rewatching the game. What a year, what an upset, what a story.

Fajardo played the best game of his career, I've trashed him in the past but credit where credit is due. He was clutch tonight. Got sacked late and instead of panicking, stayed focused and ended up throwing dimes and orchestrating the game winning drive with the pressure of a whole province on his shoulders*. Grey Cup MVP, the unexpected hero who finally breaks the 13-year curse. Respect.

Thorpe's defense also showed up big time, they proved they can beat good teams this postseason so I'll have to cut him some slack next year. Same for Maciocia, in the end he managed to find a bunch of key players like Lemon, Sankey and a talented WR corps. He built this team and brought the GC back to Montreal, thank you Danny.

I'm super happy for these guys and the fans who kept watching after the Calvillo years. It was a long, painful drought but we finally have something to celebrate and be proud of. Can't wait for the parade!

I was really not a fan of Cody Fajardo this season, or ever really. I didn't think he would be able to produce enough offense to allow the Alouettes to win the Grey Cup. I will give credit where credit is due however, he showed up and produced when the team needed him the most and when the game was on the line.

Congrats to the Als!!!

Fajardo has had such trouble making reads all year and then....They were driving in the final minute and he took that sack and I was so:laugh: mad, then he got out of trouble again and scrambled for 13 to set up the 3rd and 5 and the rest is history...2 dimes to win the game. The 3rd and 5 throw for 30 yards was a giant balls call from Calvillo and then the absolute dart to Philpot. I couldn't believe what i was watching. my jaw dropped. I was in shock. these guys had absolute belief. it was stunning to watch. i had tears

It's amazing how Sports can work lol

I wasn't the biggest fan of Fajardo either lol, very frustrating on offense most times I found

But he had the game of his life, in the biggest game of his life
And I can never say a bad thing about him ever again lol
That's just how it works when you do something special like that

Couldn't be happier for him, Couldn't be happier for those guys, that was supposed to be a Argo-Bombers final and we crashed that f***ing party bigtime baby

That was the best catch I’ve seen since David Tyree for the Giants in Super Bowl whatever!

Shades of Sonny Wade!!!!!
Sonny Wade throwing the ball as hard as he can to his receiver that is only a few yards away is what always stands out for me
