No, not a first-round pick. That would be overpayment.Allen has positive value. Mzarek has negative vale.
A Toronto 1st is the minimum for Montreal to consider this.

Oh sure, the Leafs trade a shitty goalie and a 1st for a shitty goalie….makes perfect sense.yeah if you want Mrazek's ugly contract off your hands the Habs need a 1st
Allen's a better goalie than Mrazek with a better contract on a much worse teamOh sure, the Leafs trade a shitty goalie and a 1st for a shitty goalie….makes perfect sense.
He's really not. And I wouldn't make this trade anyway. It's atrocious for Montreal. No Allen is bad too

Allen is garbage too, this is a lateral move, actually it's worse since we're adding. No interest in Allen, he's not the answer.
Disagree. Allen is .903 sv% on a depleted team lacking key defensemen all season. Mrazek is 0.884 on a top team. Mrazek is horrible. Leafs will likely buy him out.Allen isn't better than Mrazek. Just because Mrazek has had a bad 17 games this year doesn't mean he's garbage all of a sudden.
Even if Allen is a marginal upgrade, it isn’t worth making an overpayment.Allen's a better goalie than Mrazek with a better contract on a much worse team
Not saying hes the answer, but definitely an upgrade to Mrazek and his 884 SV%
Probably rightEven if Allen is a marginal upgrade, it isn’t worth making an overpayment.
one is shittierOh sure, the Leafs trade a shitty goalie and a 1st for a shitty goalie….makes perfect sense.
Habs should waive him…we waived our shitty one….one is shittier
