Welp I'm screwed with my 4 left shooting defenders...

Finding RD's has been much harder than I thought. Every time I find a dman I wanna draft, they're a lefty.

Even when I was going crazy on defence early on, I had to skip over like 6-8 Lefty’s to find a righty.

Honestly, it shows you how lucky we are to have Makar. Because it’s clear that historically lefty D are way better than the Righty’s.

There legitimately weren't as many righties back in the day. Lefties played the right side a lot more (as they of course still do sometimes). Now dads are probably starting their kids out as righties. Spoken as a righty by way of being left-handed.

Squads looking nice. I’ll be interested to see what winger you pick up for the Sedin’s. That could be a killer 3rd line. There are plenty of good RW’s left too.

I think Makarov was the superior player, that’s why I nabbed him first. One of the best of his generation imo.

I’ve been watching the replays of the Canada Cup on TSN and that guy just floated around the ice with amazing skating and vision.

Fetisov was phenomenal too. I can see why Tweaky snagged him so early on.

Fetisov was phenomenal too. I can see why Tweaky snagged him so early on.

When tweaky grabbed Fetisov I thought the old Russians were gonna fly off the board. Honestly surprised we got Makarov/ kharlamov so late. Wanted larionov to complete my Russian line. Makarov was great though, sucks we never got to see what he could do in the nhl during his prime.

I’ve been thinking about nabbing them for a while.

It is too bad they couldn’t play their prime years in the NHL. Makarov and Larionov were both 30+ when they came over and were still really good players in the league.

Konstantinov was super effective as well and turned into a fan favourite in Detroit.

No you're right, Makarov and Larionov were great. Also Fedorov was extremely marketable which certainly didn't hurt.
