Jersey's look better without nameplates. The only use them because it's easier on the equipment managers.*
*All my jersey's have nameplates.
Received this garbage in the mail today from the MSG store. So annoyed.
It depends on the league for me. Some leagues do, some leagues don't.
But if you add a nameplate for your $225 jersey, why not do it for your $280 jersey?
yea I don’t know what the NHL/Official stores are doing
NHL shop provides nameplates, their official resellers like Coolhockey do the same.
MSG-shop just seems lazy. Either that, or they have no clue what they're doing. Neither would surprise me
Do you know if the MSG Shop is worse than the official shop for other teams?

Does anyone know a company that strips jerseys? I called ArenaWear and Coolhockey and they both said they wouldn’t do it. I had Cosby’s strip a Dubinsky nameplate to John Moore (lol) years back but that’s no longer an option.
The $225 jerseys are just direct from the warehouse of Fanatics/NHL Shop which is why they have the nameplate as that’s how they’re precustomized. The $280 ones are the blank jerseys that MSG takes to whoever their customizer is for the team store and they don’t use nameplates for whatever reason.
They shipped them very poorly as well. Not that I was expecting a box like how CH sends out, but my jersey was folded and mangled inside of the sleeve they shipped it in. It really is a joke that they thought this was okay. Here’s a few more pics.
There are tons of whitish marks on the numbers as you can see from the threading.
Looks like these are still out of stock everywhere. NHL was really ready to make some money here.
I'd like to order through Coolhockey based on the posts here and AK's great looking Kakko jersey. However, I clicked on a number of different Rangers jerseys and they seem to only offer sizes 44 and 52. I assumed that just meant other sizes were out of stock, but it seems to be the same on any authentic I click on no matter the name or style, blue, white, or retro. Is this common? If so, is there another company that offers similar quality? I'd like to pick up a size 56 so I can wear a hoodie under it in winter. I'm leaning towards a retro Lafreniere or blue Lafreniere. If it's just a stock issue, then I can wait a bit. It doesn't make sense they'd only offer those sizes, but on the other hand, seems too strange that every jersey sells out the same way.
It's just a stock issue. On their main page, you can subscribe to their email notifications so you know when they re-stock. I suggest you do that and then order once you receive word from them
whats wrong with it?Received this garbage in the mail today from the MSG store. So annoyed.
I have a blank Koho Liberty jersey. Is it worth it to get it customized? If so, where do you guys recommend that I send it out to?
