I drove through Anaheim yesterday for the first time in a very long time and couldn't help but appreciate all the 60's style strip malls that were still there. We even drove passed a drive thru dairy which is such an nostalgic thing for me. I live in Long Beach and Lakewood still has quite a bit of those old 60's / 70's style shopping centers. They are so much more pleasing to the eye than any of the new crap that all looks the same. And yeah, i felt like i was making a Progressive commercial while I was reminiscing with my wife.
I thought I had been there and just had to check to location. Yup, been there after the bars at the pier many nights in my 20's. They always had stacks of slices ready to go and I remember it being good but I was in an altered state admittedly.
