Where is the United States Testing plan? Is that asking too much? Everyone but Trump agrees that we need more testing. So Republicans, what's stopping the need for more testing?

Stay safe. Follow the rules. Don't go out unless absolutely necessary. Don't go to work unless absolutely necessary. Help flatten the SECOND WAVE, it's coming, we must protect ourselves because there isn't a National U.S. Testing Plan.

VP Pence who I am not a fan of as at least shown some leadership and been able to work with the 50 Governors. Governor Baker has praised him often.

Many political pundits expect Trump will choose someone else to be his VP come the convention and the name being mentioned is

Nikki Haley - Wikipedia

What terrifies me is if he loses the election he will, of course, blame the virus and in a rage who knows what he might do as he would still be POTUS for another 10 weeks.

I have faith in our local leaders. Even the Governor of NH knows that opening up his state would be a disaster as people from Massachusetts would go there if the could.

If Trump does select Haley and is actually able to work well with her it'll be the smartest thing he's done in years. Haley is smart, articulate, compassionate and has a solid political record. She also represents a more traditional form of Republicanism and is a living embodiment of the 'Great American Dream' with parents who moved to the US for a better life for them and their children. She's also many things Trump is not - female, non-white (but not in a way that may 'threaten' any of the dumber voters), southern, middle-class, with a military husband and a much wider experience in politics. If I were working for the Democrats I'd be hoping for anyone but Haley.

But if it turns out that disinfectant CAN be injected, was he still being sarcastic or did he know all along?

UV treatment is a real thing.

For skin conditions.

Thanks to UV, sunlight has been proven to kill the virus behind COVID-19, though not effectively enough to wipe it out entirely. The purifying power of UV light has also been harnessed in specialized lightbulbs used to purify hospital rooms and water sources, but that’s a different type of UV—the aforementioned UVC.
-----------------------

“UVC disrupts the pyrimidines,” Armani explains, because the specific frequency of UVC resonates with the nucleic acids, destroying them (with more effectiveness than UVA or UVB). “Since it’s able to go in and destroy half of RNA or DNA, it’s able to destroy replication of viruses and bacteria. They can’t reproduce and so they die
--------------------------------

The idea of directly exposing people with UVC is a very bad idea and would have numerous negative health effects,” she says. “The negative effects of direct UVC exposure on humans is backed up by decades of medical research.

I have said repeatedly over the past 7 weeks I want Trump to get this right

Logic tells me if Trump has a brainstorm as he did on Thursday he should vet it with the experts BEFORE they walk into the briefing room with cameras and live mikes but that is not how he thinks.

It saddens me that our beloved HF Bruins group is polarized over this and yet as we approach the 50th Anniversary of Bobby's Goal it should be noted that while the Blues and Bruins were playing in the 1970 SCF the US was being torn apart by events in Ohio.

BTW consider this - The Globe led the sports page with the NBA Finals that the Celtics were not in

We are all frazzled by what has happened in the past 7 weeks and the worst part is we have NO end date in sight.

Even a punished prisoner who is thrown into solitary knows when that will end - we don't

It is obvious that social distancing has flattened the curve somewhat but we have a long way to go.

We WILL get through this and I look forward to the day when HF Bruins is livid that Tim Peel and Chris Rooney have been assigned to work a B's playoff game.

Stay Safe Everyone
