Has anyone else tried selling their tickets for this weekends events? Holy crap this has turned into a nightmare. Apparently the NHL did not give permission for Stubhub to electronically list tickets to this event so the only option was to list the paper tickets and send them via UPS. Because of this, they put an expiration on the sales today. Meanwhile, the market has been amazingly slow. Only 4 sets of tickets have sold in my section total for the event (for a typical Kings game, 20-30 sets will sell) and now the prices are plummeting below face value.

Because of the paper ticket issue, the only way I can keep my listing open is to mail or drop off my tickets to Stubhub's Last Minute Services office on Figueroa. What a cluster.

I thought I was going to make at least $300-400 based on prices for the previous two games. What a **** show!

I'm in 306 and was able to make $21 but only because I sold three of my four to a nice gentlemen from Canada via Craigslist. He's in town and needed three which was hard to get on StubHub without paying a ton. Sold them to him for $260 a strip on a cost of $249 a strip haha.

Then the single I listed on StubHub sold later that night (Monday) for $230, return of $207. There was no way I was going to get caught up in that LMS garbage.

Could of been worse...the CL guy drove from LAX to Belmont Shore so all I had to do was walk three houses down to 2nd Street. Nice guy too...chatted for like an hour. Problem was I had already done a pretty good job on Christmas presents for my parents and then my Mom's birthday that was only two weeks after. Since I thought I was going to make a nice return, I said I'd pick up one of their strips since I didn't think I'd be going out of pocket. Now that's costing me pretty much the entire strip out of pocket hahaha.

My stepfather isn't going to the game though so I'm going to go now with my Mom. At least I am actually going to it after all of this but, yeah, I severely misread the market. Insane because I didn't even think tickets were readily available to the public.

I'm sure the Kings suckage this season helped play a part. No excitement around this team at all this season and, in return, the All-Star Game.

Just missed buying two to the Skills for $16 in Row 8 of the 200 level.

Thinking that must have been a mistake to list for that low.

Yeah I bought tickets thinking if I could get a good price I'd resell them, otherwise I'd go. So I have decided to go to the game Sunday and was just looking to sell my skills contest tix which I didn't think would be too hard. Now I'm looking at a loss on those if they sell at all.

It's brutal.

Parking is going to cost the same as buying a ticket to Saturday on Stubhub.

Going to take the train from LB instead of paying $50 or something ridiculous on Sunday. Already not happy with going out of pocket for something I'm not greatly interested in.
