I ordered tickets via my season seats. They were pretty pricey. I am curious to see what the resale market looks like. That may determine whether I go or not...

Prices are high on Stub right now. Prices were apparently insane in Nashville last season.

Average all-star game only ticket for last year was coming in at $436 with the skills comp at $291. Average weekend pass was $778.

Previous year in Columbus had an average of $475 for the weekend pass which was the previous record.

Not sure how or why it doubled for the Nashville one, but I hope the trend continues. I'm looking to sell four tickets to each event. My two-day pass cost $249 for each seat...I'm not paying that to watch a skills competition or a three-on-three exhibition with no hitting from the upper bowl.

Looks like McDavid is going to be the captain of the pacific. If only this season wasn't so rocky fans would get a **** and vote. Oh well.

That is just stupid. I am not sure I would even go if I had free tickets (unless I had nothing to do that day), let alone pay several hundred bucks for one. I have never been a player fan, but only a fan of a team. I could care less about individual skills or player worship like the Karlsson and McDavid fan boys.

It is stupid which is why I'm not going.

What's more interesting is the NHL 100 event since it is cheaper than even the skills competition and you'll get to be in the same room with Gretzky and a host of other all-time greats.

Tickets are still available for that event.

My 300's seats cost about 300 each , I think it includes skills on sat but not 100% sure yet , will let you know

The deal for STHs required the purchase of both nights so it should be included. 300 level ends are at $249 for entry to both SAT/SUN.

The fan fair thing at the convention center is an additional cost which I find a little weak but cest la vie.

If Kopi is such a mess according to many of you (I'm aware of his point production), why is his average TOI/game almost three minutes more than forward (Carter) with second most average TOI/game? And five minutes more than forward with fourth most average TOI/game (Brown) at Kings?

With that much ice time he should have more points. King and Lewis have more goals with less ice time. You just proved our point.

of course he should, no one is arguing that. His point was that he contributes in a LOT of other ways and thus draws that ice time.

Kopi hasn't earned an all-star spot this year but my point was that when the inevitable injuries to named all-stars happen, it is likely a highly respected and popular player on the hometown team will be a good candidate for a replacement.

Besides, the Kopi-Carts-Dewey trio will terrorize the 3 on 3 format :yo:

Not at all that I would think that Kopitar deserve all-stars this year.

But when I read such comments (and not just this season), then I just got a feeling that Kopitar isn't appreciated enough by some Kings fans as he in my oppinion should be. Like he never was completly accepted in LA (for whatever reason)...

On the contrary, Kopi is highly respected and appreciated. But when a player who has played at an elite level for years has his point production decline like this after signing a monster contract this team can ill-afford, he's due for criticism. You'd better believe Jonathan Toews has been getting criticism in Chicago for his production this season and he helped bring them 3 Cups.

Kopi is one of the best players the Kings have ever been lucky enough to have and hopefully he'll retire as a King. But he's strong enough and good enough that he can take the criticism. A number of people here feel that Doughty hasn't had a great season and they haven't hesitated to say so either. Muzzin has been called a bonehead a time or two. Trevor Lewis is also known as Stone Hands. Criticism is just what hockey forums are all about.

Kopi is so popular his DOG has his own Twitter account.

He's the team captain and one of the highest paid players in the league. Yeah, he's totally not accepted here.

He's underachieving based on his standards. Are you too afraid to admit that?

We should let all the Team North America All-Stars reunite, put on their old unis and take on the NHL in the All-Star Game.

Love this idea....

So somehow Mike Smith whose team is dead last in the pacific division with a 7-11-5 record and 2.83 GAA and .918 save % makes it ahead of Peter Budaj. I understanding representing every team, but use someone like OEL ahead of Fowler.
