Was wondering how he made it this long to be honest. That program needs a better coach and recruiter. I hope Boisvert goes to a program that will let him blossom and have some linemates for that as well. not knocking his at ND per se but he was pretty much solo it seemed.Brad Berry out at North Dakota so that would feed into any transfer speculation about Boisvert (personally haven’t seen anything about it but I’d imagine it’s a distinct possibility now)
I think the NCHC is my favorite conference for developing prospects but selfishly I would like him to come to the east coast so I could see him in person.Brad Berry out at North Dakota so that would feed into any transfer speculation about Boisvert (personally haven’t seen anything about it but I’d imagine it’s a distinct possibility now)

I'm starting to get just a little concerned about Dominic James as I feel like if he were going to sign, he would have by now. This is how you can have 'too many' draft picks as he might see an easier path to the NHL with a different team.I had expected Hawks to sign Domenic James by now...have heard no announcement yet..Did the NCAa give him an extra year due to his missing all but 2 games in the 23/24 season.?..on latecFebrurary there were articles that Hawks would sign him to an ELC right after Minnesota -Duluth sesson ends....which it has ...but still nonews of a signing yet. Have the plans changed? ?
I won't either. I'm just trying to drive the point that having more draft picks isn't necessarily better than having less draft picks because too many draft picks creates this kind of problem. It's by no means the worst kind of problem to have but when people scream that we didn't sell Donato for a 2nd, or when we trade 2 2nds to move up 2 spots or whatever we did in the Boisvert thing, this is the reasoning behind those kinds of moves.if James isn't willing to fight it out then whatever. Not like this org is going to live and die by signing him.
I'm not sweating. Maybe I should have worded it with 'doubt' instead of 'concern'Sweating over a 6th round pick signing is crazy
