Can someone find a list of past CHL goal leaders? I tried finding it but had no luck. Lardis is now 8 up on the next best. (Misa)

Maybe we should trade up the Toronto pick in the late first plus our own 2nd to and take Jake O"brien on the teens.. to get a bigger Center for the 2 wingers.?
1st star of the game Lardis 4g1aof course...Vanacker 2nd star. 2g....O'Brien 3rd star ..A complete donination...

But you know Hawks coaches..theyvwill put Lardiscand Vanacker on the 4th line with no PolP time.. instead put some vet bums out with Bedard etc..etc..

And of course Lardis not even 85th or above on the NHL top prosoects list.

2 ways to win..beat the opps goalie time and again
.snipe snipe and outscore you defensive flaws.. or Shutdown the opps and posses the puck making them he and get tired or unfocused leading also to scores.. Sunce Hawks cannot do the latter, the path ahead.suggests just snioe snipe every chance you get ..cut down on missed shots and attempted shotsc blocked ..just put the puck past the opps goalie.
But Lardis the scorong machine is somehow not even in top 85.. Meanwhile Oliver Moore is apparently going to light up the NHL because he is so fast and so degensiveky responsible...nothing on his lack of sniping consistency though.

I guess the guy putting out that top farm system prpspect ranking would have discounted Ovechkin in top 85 during his pre-nhl days because all he was goodcat was 1 timer from the dot.. Lardis scores in more ways than that ..but somehow they are orbiting a fail "at the next level"..as if ...you know..ability to put pucksvoast goalies is not an important skill..but elite speed is acguaratee Moore will star "at the next level" despite his troubles of consistent topbscoring for his team.. a few brief flashes ..but never 3 and 4 goal game ability. TOO FAST for his hands goes tge criticism

So who you gonna bet on.. sniper Lardis or ekitexsoeed with the finish of Victor Stalberg?

Sometimes the ranking lists are way off.

Lardis looks phenomenal. I think he's going to be lighting the lamp in Rockford next season.

Vancker has had a rough year and hasn't looked like he did last year. You have to give him a break and throw this season out the window because his body is still weak from the injury recovery period.

Lardis is like Firkus-level prospect to me as of right now

Shouldve gone higher in the draft for sure and I think a speedy top 9 guy with 20+ goal upside is a reasonable projection at this point

Debrincat and Robertson are definitely two comparables

So basically if you’re U20 and lead the CHL in goals you’re somebody. If you aren’t, you aren’t.

Oh here's where you guys are talking about him. I was confused why his thread had nothing considering how well he's been playing. Where did our genius selves rank Lardis pre-season in our prospect list?

"I'm starting to get the impression that Lardis is going to get drafted later than I think he should and lower than many independent scouting agencies have him (including us at McKeen's). Look, I do understand the trepidation. He's a smaller and slight winger who plays a pretty straight forward North/South game. NHL teams prefer those types to be bigger and stronger because the success rate is higher. I also think that Lardis is still trying to shake the scouting reputation of being too perimeter focused, like he was earlier in the year with Peterborough. I see a lot of similarity between the treatment of Lardis and the treatment of Jordan Kyrou in his draft year. Ultimately, scouts got it wrong there and I think they will make the same error by underrating Lardis. Sure, his game is pretty straight forward. But, his speed is elite. He's going to be able to use it as a weapon at the next level too. Ditto for his shot. And we saw at the NHL combine that Lardis is a young man that takes his strength and conditioning seriously. He's going to be fine physically. Anyone that watches Hamilton a lot will tell you that he's actually still working on ways to harness his skating ability to be a more consistent play driver. He might just be scratching the surface here. Additionally, I really loved the way he stepped up his game in round one against Barrie in the playoffs." - Brock Otten

This was the scouting report from Brock just before the 2023 entry draft. Brock is just the most excellent evaluator of OHL talent by the way. He had Lardis ranked 4th out of the OHL behind only Colby Barlow, Callum Ritchie and Quinton Musty.
Two of the things that Lardis improved quite a bit since this report from June 2023 are gaining size/strength and his willingness to play in heavy traffic. His shot, hands and skating are still at the elite level. His offensive anticipation (hockey sense) is right up there amongst the best also.

Stock Down...Stock UP..

Down:

. Roman Kantserov has cooled way off..0 goals last 5GP...1 g last 10GP..
In last ten 1g 6a=7pts -6..

UP:

Nick Lardis hot as a firecracker..as we all are aware. . 16 g 5 assists in last 10GP
(10 goals came in last 5GP)..

. Ryan Greene 6g 7a +5 in last 10GP...

. Marek Vanacker 6g 4a Even in last 10GP (but 5g in last5)...

Ok:.

. Aidan Thompson 3g 7a +1

The Mushy Middle to Meh/average:

. Sascha Boisvert 3g 4a -3 in last 10GP

.Jack Pridham 4g 3a -2 in last 10GP

John Mustard 2g 5a Even lastc10GP

. Oliver Moore 3g 4a +1 in last 10Go but maybe trending up with 5vpoibts of these 7 points in lalst 5GP and +3...so maybevgoibg into a heater for him???

Not sure what to make of it:

. Sam Rinzel
1g 4a but +4 over last 10GP..Offense has declined in this span but at least he still put uvp a +4..BUTbonly 1a no goals in ladt5GP and just+1= below his prior standards for thecseason.. maybe his worst 5vgame stretch. Not dominating like before..

Wheeler has the Hawks at #4 in his prospect rankings.

1) Arty
2) Frank the III
3) Korch
4) Rinzel
5) Boisvert
6) Moore
7) Vanacker
8) Lardis
9) Kantserov
10) EDM
11) Dach
12) Greene
13) Commesso
14) Spellacy
15) Mustard

Oddly no mention at all on Slaggert. Ellen not ranked. Then there's little tidbit at the end:

Rockford-Chicago in-between-man Wyatt Kaiser (who is probably just a No. 7-8 and feels like he has already been passed by Nolan Allan and Del Mastro on the depth chart but could have slotted No. 14-15 on the list), Minnesota-Duluth goaltender Adam Gajan (who I nearly included at No. 14-15 on talent despite having some clear work to do) and Rockford forward Gavin Hayes would have ranked 16-18 in some order, with Kitchener Rangers speedster Jack Pridham right behind them.
