Curious what most project Jack Pridham to be after his start in Kitchener ;

2024-25
Kitchener RangersOHL12871566
I watched a highlight of ones of his goals from the weekend. he has size and moves really well and looks to have powerful wrister. I think our 3rd rounders will look like steals in 1-2 years. Mustard having a strong year in providence and he was very young for that draft and spellacy and pridham have size and skating and seem to be late bloomers. (or more to the point picked up hockey full time late) I think all 3 have a shot to play NHL games. that draft is starting to look really good. ARTY had 9 shots on goal last game and had had a solid game def, Sacha is playing really well for a 6-2 Freshman. IE guys with usually take some time. Vanacker has 4 pts in the last 5 games and looks to be a strong 2-way guy. ty henry is 6-4/5 210lbs late july bday and has 11pts 27 games and has NHL skating ability. Joel Svensson got into a 5 SHL games and is 6-2 strong skater. he is the only one that feels like a long shot to play a NHL game.

Game over 4-2win for Magnetogorsk Metallurg...looks like Kantersov only got 1 secondary assist bit 3shotscon goal and 5 hits (which led the team in that stat)...see lhlbscores on flash score..

I do not think he is even given top feature on their PP1 so do not expect big numbers off the PP unless they give him more opportunity in that role.

Hexwas listed on the starting #1 line for this game.. but I am notcsure if that is their regular top line orvif the starting line was given tha honour for this game due to success in recent prior games..

In any case his assistctoday was at even strength not PP.

But the key takeaway today was 5 hits..Did not realize he can play physical too and with edge.

So Hawks have 2 players in the world juniors only, Moore and Felcman. Let's look through our draft picks from the last two years and see why

2023:
Bedard - 05, young enough but too in the NHL
Moore - 05, on team USA
Gajan - 04, too old
Kantserov - 04, too old and too Russian
Misiak - 04, too old
Lardis - 05, young enough, maybe even good enough, but not picked by Canada
Felcman - 05, on Czechia
Pharand - 05, not good enough, not picked by Canada
Marcel - 03, too old
Oscarson - 03, too old
Peltonen - 05, young enough, idk if good enough, not picked by Finland

2024:
Levshunov - 05, young enough, but too Belarusian
Boisvert - 06, young enough, maybe even good enough, but Canada doesn't pick 18 year old NCAA players unless they have to, not picked by Canada
Vanacker - 06, too injured to really be in mix, not picked by Canada
Mustard - 06, if Boisvert isn't on the list, he obviously wouldn't be, not picked by Canada
Spellacy - 06, had a shot, one of last roster cuts for USA
Pridham - 05, late birthday 3rd rounder wouldn't have had much of a shot at Canada, especially when he begun year in BCHL
Svensson - 05, young enough but not picked by Sweden
Henry - 06, not good enough, not picked by Canada

Boisvert, Vanacker, maybe (but probably not) Mustard have shots at Canada next year. Spellacy will probably be in USA next year. The dearth of any 2nd rounders eligible for the tournament, and Bedard/Levshunov both not being there for their reasons lead to light representation for the Hawks this year.
