All-Purpose Prospect Thread v17.0

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. @Kevin27NYI On Pokka with the Hawks - he pretty much immediately flatlined. I don't ever remember any talk about him in contention for a NHL spot. He was just one more of the many prospects that came back in the cap clearing deals that bombed. Unfortunately, don't remember any specific criticism of his game.

I seem to remember he had mediocre wheels.

Did Roman Kantserov getv njured?
No stat line for hom in the Metallurg Magnetogorsk games played in KHL so far this season ...Elite Prospects shows he has not played yet this season...so injured or riding the bench?

Anyone know?

In one case I refuse to say the prospect bombed

Hawks didn't seem to have much interest in giving Vishnevskiy a look and if I recall the cap situation in 2010-11 meant his contract was also high to fit on roster (With his bonus/etc)

Stanton and Vish were only good players on blueline in Rockford that season yet neither got even a cup of coffee with Hawks team that was playing shit like Cullimore in lineup. Stanton before his

With Hawks not seeming to want to give him shot he went back to Russia and played in KHL

If I remember correctly - the timetable for his return is in mid-October.

Also - Minny's 2022 1st round Danila Yurov is also out with an injury and without Kantserov and Yurov the reigning champs are struggling - 1-4 through the first 5 games.

Hogs should be a ton of fun this year at least. I don't know how it works out with rights but if the suits at CHSN have any sense they'll showcase some of their games like the Cubs do on Marquee
