I know it was a 6th round pick but kind of wild that Davidson and co. traded it for Gorman. He showed nothing up to that point to suggest he would be an NHL player. Then he "broke out" in his senior year at Princeton, they didn't sign him and then he transferred to UMass and had a bad year.
Really puzzling.

Honestly felt like Kyle owed someone in Gorman's family or something lol.

Some interesting notes here.

Powers saying he believes Hawks brass wants Nazar to turn pro.

Hinting Misiak will likely stay another year in OHL as an overager.

Lardis should be back soon.

Hawks brass really likes Kantserov.

Basse is going back to transfer portal for his 5th year college eligibility and it sounds like the Hawks won't sign him.

Lardis just scored again.

So happy it doesn't look like the injury hurt his goal scoring ability. Yeah - he's thin and will need to get bigger to be handle the NHL game but he can score and he can absolutely fly. Between him and Moore the Hawks got probably the two fastest players in the 2023 draft. Both of them are not only fast but they both have almost instant acceleration - top speed in one stride.

From the article posted above.

"The Blackhawks will support Nazar in whatever decision he makes at the end of the season, but they would probably like him to turn pro and get the chance to start working with him closer. It’s no given he’d play in the NHL next season, but whether he’s in Rockford or Chicago, the quantity of games could also be beneficial."

Nice finish on the lucky bounce

I've felt this way all year but it's especially evident tonight- Michigan is a pretty uninspiring team for their talent level. Not that they don't play hard or anything, they just seem aimless out there way too often
