Tons of guys got pushes. Stone Cold is the obvious one. Triple H did. Owen Hart was a future champion (RIP) Billy Gunn was clearly in the midst of one. Mabel did... then lost it (?) Angle, Edge, Lesnar, Sheamus were all champions (Sheamus was already a champ, but it led to a push). Regal WAS going to be champion until he failed a drug test and got de-pushed.
