wonder if they're worried that tourism isn't coming back any time soon
Supposedly they got a new significant bid. NOLO will get a Mania different year though.

I realize we can't go into too much detail, but I can already see major shitstorm with the World cup next year with possibly players, coaches staff, not to mention above all fans, not allowed into the country.

Vegas requested Mania to be Easter weekend this year since it's typically a slow weekend for them. We'll see if they ask the same next year (April 4-5).

This year Easter was mid-April so that conflicted with the start of the NHL playoffs. Ticket prices were the main reason but I opted to skip Mania this year since I figured I could happily watch from home and not miss the playoffs. If it's early April next year, then I'll probably more tempted since the NHL would be wrapping up the regular season.

Coincidentally the Frozen Four is in Vegas April 9-11 next year (which would mean T-Mobile arena is booked). That might be a long week for me.

another vegas mania is a bad idea. they should go outside the US

Definitely a bummer in terms of variety, but I think plenty of people would still travel in.

Early April would probably help out since it was probably a rough time for the arena crew last month having to set up for Smackdown/NXT, then a playoff hockey game, then back to Raw. Since it'd be regular season, they could at least know in advance to send the Knights on a road trip.

I think they might be wary of having NXT tv show there. Too much wrestling fatigue in the air this year already. PC or a different location.

I feel bad for the NXT talent since they have to be at the arena at like 5am for a 10am start time. I'd have to look up how the attendance was for the arena show. The Tuesday after Mania NXT show was at the small theater in the Fontainebleau which seemed like a nice change of pace venue.

I went to the Saturday morning NXT show before WM39 in LA. It wasn't a sell out and the crowd definitely wasn't as energized like when I saw a previous NXT show in the same arena in 2018.

Stand & Deliver seemed to be fairly full and the crowd was loud. Maybe an hour later start for the NXT PLE and don't do a two hour countdown show before Mania? Though if people had tickers for S & D and Mania, maybe there was fear people wouldn't be able to commute to Mania in time? :dunno:

Looking back at my photos from WM39 weekend, it looks like I had time to stop for lunch after NXT before we drove to the stadium. T-Mobile Arena to Allegiant Stadium is in theory walkable.

But definitely could understand the fan fatigue between the things going on at the convention center and a bunch of independent shows happening around town.

Oh, I didn't know they were that close. I guess it's possible then start next year's show later.

Its boring from a fan perspective but its not bad business. Vegas is paying a huge amount for the pleasure and the tickets will sell
it's bad business gouging fans and giving them a subpar product. this will eventually blow up in their faces when you factor every other stupid mistake they're making. do you not remember how they were gaslighting and chastising fans during the WM media tour? they're f***ing full of themselves

That is entirely on the booking at the time. No one was complaining about the booking a year ago. We don't know what the booking will be for next year's Mania.

TKO looks at UFC sells out in vegas just about every month, so this will do just fine in their opinion...

I agree doing the same venue again will not be good for fans abroad that are hoping for future Manias as this may be a thing for coming years that it will be held at the same place/same weekend type thing
