I grew up in a small town with no access to ECW. A friend visited family that had a satellite dish and he returned with a copy of Living Dangerously '98. I recognized Sabu from wrestling zine pics. He wrestled Sandman that looked like everyone's drunk uncle.

Damn, Sabu was one of my favourite wrestler's from the mid 90's to the mid 2000's and was the main reason I got into watching ECW. He had a level of recklessness that I had never seen before and fit my teenage attitude perfectly. Probably my favourite ECW legend along with RVD and Mike Awesome.

Date Revealed For Return Of WWE Evolution PLE – TJR Wrestling

The return of WWE's Evolution PLE could be part of a jam-packed weekend for the company.

PWInsider Elite reports that WWE is considering “the weekend of 7/12 in Atlanta” as a spot for the return of the Evolution PLE. There is a Saturday Night’s Main Event special scheduled for July 12th in Atlanta, so that could mean Evolution would be a Sunday, July 13th show.

It was also reported by Fightful Select that the Evolution return hasn’t been confirmed. They added that WWE talent claimed that “a second Evolution show has not been brought up to them,” although the talent has seen internet speculation about it.

Dom went on a podcast recently and said that when RAW comes to Phoenix he plans on visiting Eddie's grave with the IC belt to let him know "We did it."

... That's both an awesome story and also something I almost hate hearing because he's so good at being tongue in cheek while keeping kayfabe, and I feel like letting stuff like this out there makes it hard for fans to play along and keep booing.
