Sounds like the AEW/CMLL show is doing some pretty crazy numbers for ticket sales. On pace to basically sell out Arena Mexico already. CMLL is obviously promoting itself as the last stand of true Mexican wrestling now.

Yeah and this is Dave Meltzer talking so... But picture it, Sicily Evolution 2, Iyo Sky is the champ and gets a surprise opponent in a non-tile match, where the challenger would get a title match via win, and it's her.

Never said he reported it as fact but he "felt" she would go to WWE because of Iyo. He should search his feelings better.

There is also the belief, based on translations, that Mayu believes she will be able to work with Io Shirai. The fact that she’s calling herself the icon of joshi puroesu and not just of Marigold is supposed to be purposeful, so there may be other opportunities.
