All-Purpose News Thread Part III

AOP and Alexander I get... I really like Davenport and DeVille, but the WWE women's division is stacked. I do think Sonya can excel on the indies or in TNA, she can talk and work.

AOP meh.
Alexander goes to AEW and joins the hurt business. Maybe starts in ROH.
Sonya goes to either AEW or TNA
Priestly probably Japan.

Gallows and Anderson probably have their pick of AEW/NJPW/TNA.

KO has re-signed with WWE for 5 more years.
I feel like Kevin Owens re-signs for 5 years like every 6 months

Sonya felt like she had a place there.

Isla Dawn cut sucks for Alba Fyre, but if they give her a chance, I’m confident she can move up the card.

In hindsight, Isla Dawn "corrupting" Alba Fyre at NXT killed her singles push. But she got some joy from winning the tag titles in front of her home crowd after her mother's death.

Via 411Mania (originally Fightful Select):

* Karl Anderson is still injured and will be out for 3-6 months before he can get cleared. Anderson is said to be “in good spirits.” Releasing talent while they are hurt is reportedly unusual for WWE.

* Blair Davenport had been considered for a role with Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. She was brought to TV and the idea was pitched to her. A secret service outfit was being prepared before her release, but was delayed. This all happened around the Royal Rumble. There had previously been reports about the company wantign to use her more, but she hadn’t been discussed for plans in November, December and early January.

* Some in NXT think that the releases are part of plans to call up several new wrestlers to the main roster this year.

i wonder who Vinci pissed off cuz he was a HHH guy

It's not really a surprise to anybody. The kiss of death was repackaging him and running a shit ton of vignettes only to eat a pin a minute into his first match.

Every now and then they reflect back to some Vince era "Set him up to fail" booking.

Apparently he was RUMORED to be hitting on the female talent, including Tiffany Stratton. Which would explain the Ludwig Kaiser beat down.

Malakai/Aleister Black officially a free agent today. Smackdown debut?

He does the things we never could?

Is it official? All I've heard is he was removed from the AEW roster page... also Miro and Starks have also been removed, with Miro reportedly negotiating his release.

Vinci was doomed the moment they split him from Imperium.

I'm saddened that I no longer get to see Isla Dawn on my TV (Not that she was there much anyway, honestly)
