Dave is writing that WWE is considering two new championships although I don’t have a sub so I don’t know what they are
Totally guessing, but it's time for a women's Intercontinental and US champ. Division and talent are expanding quickly.

I figure a singles would be at least one.
Couldn't imagine what else it would be. The tag division has already turned back to Vince-era crap since WM. No need for any new tag team or trios belts. Those two I mentioned makes perfect sense.

Job out to AEW talent then disappear for months at a time vs being a star in NXT/WWE
It is hilarious you think there also isn't the exact inverse of this....like people haven't been signed to AEW and thrived...or signed to WWE and gone nowhere. I get it though you are so firmly imprinted on the tit of WWE you could probably never be removed lol

Dory Funk Jr. is penciled in to return to the ring at 83 years of age for Atsushi Onita's Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling in Japan. The infamous hardcore promotion is due to hold a memorial show for Dory's brother, Terry Funk, on August 24 at the Kawasaki Stadium. Per the announcement, Onita will be teaming with a yet-to-be announced partner against Funk and Osamu Nishimura — confirmed to be participating on July 9 — with "Padre Del Deathmatch" living up to the moniker by expressing his desire for it to be an explosive death match, though the stipulation has yet to be finalized.

Dave Meltzer reported in the "Wrestling Observer Newsletter" that the match was slated to be a six-person affair, with Onita teaming with two unannounced partners against Nishimura, Funk, and their own TBA partner. That appears to contradict what was announced by the promotion. He also noted that the event was being sponsored by the city of Kawasaki as part of their 100-year celebration. However, there is also no mention of FMW, Onita, Terry, or Dory Funk Jr. available on their official website as of writing.

Nishimura is a significant partnership for Dory Funk Jr., considering both the facts that he is currently battling stage four cancer and that he was the last opponent Funk wrestled. They faced one another in a brief 10-minute exhibition in 2018 at a Tokyo indie event, renewing their affinity with one another in the ring after working together occasionally during Funk's 2017 run with AJPW both as teammates and opponents.

It would have to be DON or Forbidden Door. The latter I wonder if they get a lot of CMLL and hope Mexicans fill the stadium.
Exactly what I was thinking. Stacking the card and showcasing some outsiders at Forbidden Door could pop a big attendance number

AEW would hope Mexican fans travel since the event is in Dallas. Japanese fans or at least fans with Japanese genealogy have helped bump up Forbidden Door attendance and would presumably continue to do so for this event. The idea of a large event in Dallas and it possibly being Forbidden Door was mentioned months ago so this isn't breaking news so much as confirmation of the initial reports.

The baseball stadium would be the better location in terms of potentially having a building close to capacity. For them to have it at AT&T Stadium it would have to include different wrestling organizations and have new star power that is off the charts along with a sweetheart deal to use the facility. They would also have to make ticket prices reasonable in the seated sections. Maybe $100 in the first two levels and $75 or less in sections farther from the ring where the endzone is located, $50 in the third level and maybe less in the seats farther from the ring and $25 upper level. At least price it that way if their goal is to put as many butts in the seats as possible.

edit....I believe the new Rangers stadium has a roof, possibly retractable roof, so in the in-stadium portion would be okay. Potential tailgating could be terrible but it would be the same at any venue they choose in the Dallas area if it's Forbidden Door in late June.

I think AT&T stadium would be a poor idea, the baseball stadiums might be better from a seating capacity pov, but Dallas can get pretty hot for an outdoor show

This past Forbidden Door did around 11K fans in a arena that seats around 17K for hockey, jumping to 80-100K seems to be extremely wishful thinking

Maybe the Ford Center where the Cowboys practice would be worth a look, I think it has a capacity of around 12K
