How are more producers going to stop Punk from acting like a petty asshole....when he is just a petty asshole? What a truly bizarre take. But if there is even a hint of Punk quitting being true then there isn't a chance he should be keeping the belt.

WWE released a bunch of UK talent, which…I don’t know, if they’re relaunching they brand in Europe, still need these people.

The producers issue is there have been lots of backstage chaos being rumored. The changes and hires for talent relations I think happened to help address that (communication and being a people person don't seem to be TK's strong points)

But yeah this sounds like Punk being Punk.

Bunch of them asked for their release months ago. Most likely best for them if they want to work since it sounds like that side is going to be shuttered for a bit until the rebrand gets off the ground.

Wouldn't be surprising if many of them get resigned once NXT Euro launches.

Just browsing reddit and the implication is that Punk was mad at Page because Page brought up his issues with Colt Cabana.

Fightful also said the decision to have the title match next week was a late one but they couldn't confirm if this situation was the reason why

I think this is probably not as serious of a situation as people think, but because it’s Punk and 2 top guys, it gets talked about. It’s fine that it does, but there needs needs to be control over the situation, and I don’t think there isn’t.

If it is that serious, then bottom line is that Tony needs to do what he has to do to get people in line. It’s one thing to do this, but people can’t do shoot promos and force AEW to write checks can’t cash

I doubt he has the personality to do that successfully.

Tony seems like a kid in a mans body living in his fantasy dream world of wrestling.

Feel like he wants to be McMahon or Bischoff but just doesn’t have that personality.

Kinda feel some of the bigger name wrestlers just walk over him

Idk how involved he is with the Jaguars but the stories out of Fulham paint a picture that he definitely doesn't have the personality to nip shit in the bud. He seems like the type that avoids confrontation any chance he gets.

They did just hire and move new people into talent relations positions so maybe they have the right people to diffuse any issues now

You are all acting like you have any clue what TK is like behind the scenes in a business sense is hilarious. Most of the issues reported backstage are pretty common issues with young companies that expand in size quickly and the admin//HR side doesn't keep up with it. We really gonna act like there being wrestlers that are unhappy or in this scenario Punk acting like a petulant child is because Khan is "a kid living in a mans body" or "doesn't have the personality for it" when this exact same shit happened in WWE under Vince and Hunter? Come on now.

Most the time TK seems just happy to be there and happy to have his childhood dream being a reality. He seems to like to talk to the media alot but should give more control to road agents and vets. Idk ones are still there but guys like Chavo, Arn, Jake etc should have more say.

Punk is a wildly entertaining performer, but boy. I don't think I'd even want to split an Uber or sit down to a meal with him. He's gonna complain about everything - and then unironically complain about people who complain.

cm punk always causing drama no matter where he goes.. tired of him tbh wouldn't mind if he just retired and went away hopefully this whole drama makes TK put the belt on moxley and cm punk can enjoy a lower spot on card although knowing him if he doesnt go over mox he will probs threaten to quit like usual.

Would rather Omega again or even Danielson IF he could stay healthy. Wish MJF didnt leave and got to main even status

yea any of those 3 I would rather tbh I am over a cm punk title reign if hes causing this much drama backstage. doubt TK will have the balls to take belt off him though because punk will show a hissy fit or threaten to quit atm lol especially if hes in his dickish mood like it seems hes known for.

That's always been the thing with Punk. All-world talent but with an ego to match.

I definitely buy the Cabana thing because he's a petty dick, but i'm not sure even he's stupid enough to try and f*** with a guy as well liked as Hangman.
has the ego of a peak 90s shawn micheals basically

I don't at all buy its a work because it's just too stupid to be that.

Punk/Mox is the biggest match you got lined up for your biggest show. Why would you work the sheets to insert Page into all of this? Be stupid.

I didn't like the idea of MJF inserting himself into this either as that was a theory for why the match is happening next week. Just build the match for the PPV

I wonder if anyone in AEW or WWE will be impacted by the vaccine rules and the upcoming Canadian shows. This is a question, not a political post.
