Smackdown moving to USA October 2024 so it seems NBC Universal will be the exclusive home of WWE for the next rights deal

Believe the RAW rights are still up for bidding, though I can't see why USA would want Smackdown and not want to retain RAW.

The deal is supposedly worth $1.4B and contains an agreement for four shows annually to be aired on the mothership.

Add Boogz to the list of cuts along with Aliyah.

So far no one that has been getting TV time besides Ali (but he has been asking for his release for years)
Dropped the ball big time with Boogz.

He was doomed when they cut his hair and put him in generic singlets.

Fox most likely didn't want it anywhere near the price WWE was asking. They had unrealistic ratings expectations along with not liking having to cross promote NBC stuff.

For the WWE side, the point of the ratings stuff is exactly this, to get a more expensive rights deal next go around.

This would be the perfect time for AEW to sign Boogs and put him in a Tag with Will Hobbs

They could be Scott Norton and Ice Train all over again

New Fire and Ice or maybe Fire and Ice 2000

Elias is also out. Be safe El Vagabondo
He was doomed once Vince was "gone" from creative, and everybody knew it.

Kinda sad, because he seems like a super talented guy who could work with whatever they gave him. But they clearly weren't giving him anything after Ezekiel, and he apparently didn't come up with anything either.

Probably would've been good for him to go the Corbin/Crews route and go down to NXT to try to reinvent himself.

Yeah and honestly I feel much worse for all the HR, marketing, finance, accounting, sale and other rededoncies that have lost or will lose their jobs than I feel for the performers.
I don't. Realistically, those people have way more opportunities to go make money somewhere else doing the same job.

The performers literally have AEW. And if AEW doesn't want them they're either left to take a massive pay cut to go to Impact or leave the country to go to Mexico or Japan. (And probably still take a massive pay cut)

Poor Aliyah went through like 6 years in NXT and is most known for throwing up on herself.

Lots of the talent so far have just been sitting in catering for months too. I'm sure the loss of that steady paycheck is awful, but it wouldn't shock me if some will just be happy being able to get ring time somewhere.

Ali was the only one involved in actual storylines, but he most of all shouldn't have too much trouble finding a new home.

Sure, but they also were making a lot more money than most of the office workers and, if they managed it properly, won't have to have a financial stress.
