Bobby Roode is back in the WWE working as a road agent.

from wrestlinginc.com:

Bobby Roode could be following in the footsteps of Tyson Kidd and Jason Jordan — wrestlers who turned to the role of backstage producers upon suffering career-ending injuries. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Roode started work as a road agent this past week at WWE's televised events, not long after he was spotted in Detroit, Michigan ahead of SummerSlam.

Roode — although not officially retired — underwent his second neck fusion surgery within the span of a year back in May, following which he expressed optimism about making a full recovery, but did not specify a timetable for a potential in-ring return. Incidentally, the surgery took place on his 47th birthday. If Roode has indeed assumed the role of a full-time backstage producer, he'd be joining the likes of Kidd, Jordan, Billy Kidman, Michael Hayes, Molly Holly, Abyss, Jamie Noble, and Shane Helms, all of whom wrestled for years before switching to the role of helping younger peers put together matches on WWE television.

Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler ( aka The Dyad ) will be leaving the WWE in October.

from wrestlinginc.com:

Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler, known collectively as The Dyad, appear set for an imminent exit from WWE. They announced earlier this year that their contracts were due to expire in October, while also confirming that WWE had denied them an early release from their contracts. Even so, they have since featured prominently on "WWE NXT" as part of "The Schism" faction, alongside Joe Gacy and Ava Raine. They defeated the Creed Brothers in a "Loser Leaves NXT" match and have challenged for the "NXT" Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions.

However, according to the latest "Wrestling Observer Newsletter," the belief is that The Dyad are still planning to leave at the end of their contracts. Furthermore, while nothing has been confirmed on this end, it was speculated that they will circle back to their feud with the Creeds via another "Loser Leaves NXT" match. Reid and Fowler, known before as James Drake and Zack Gibson respectively, are former champions within WWE, having won the "NXT UK" Tag Team Championship.

When the duo confirmed that their contracts were coming up, they said they were looking forward to the end of their tenures and being free agents. Jagger Reid posted on Twitter: "My contract with WWE expires on 14th October 2023. I'm excited to share our next chapter, once we are free agents." Fowler tweeted much the same, saying: "On 15th Oct '23 we will be free agents again. I personally want to thank all of our fans for your continued support, it means a lot to both of us especially during times like these! We'll see you on the 16th!"

I like a lot of Jesse’s opinions on things
Jessie had a bunch of great lines when he was announcing:

- It's not cheating McMahon if you don't get caught.
- Dusty Rhodes wouldn't win a best abs contest......but he would win a most abs contest.
- Wrestling is ballet with violence.
- Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat.
- If Chico ( Tito Santana ) wanted an advantage he should have sent him some of his food.....he could have had a countout....a couple minutes into the match and The Barbarian would have had run out of the ring ( during the WM 6 match between Santana and The Barbarian ).

I remember when a certain section of media tried to attack him for suing notorious liar Chris Kyle

Jesse is a king

Its a shame too because he was fantastic

I love Jesse's commentary, that being said one could argue he had a problem that many times he would point out the ridiculous and he was actually right when you thought about it(one could argue if the heel commentator makes negative comment about the good guys, it should be wrong)

My favorite always was when Vince and Jesse did Killer Bees matches and they would do mask confusion, VInce acted completely clueless, while Jesse was actually the person calling it like it was.

Predator is better than anything Hogan has ever done or been affiliated

Well maybe aside from hogans album. Here’s the WKUK guys talking about it lol

Remember how after the death of Owen Hart Jesse was on CNN and went so hard at WWE and Vince that Eric Bischoff (!) interjected to defend the company he was at war with? Then a month later Vince offered him a pile of money to work Survivor Series and he was more than happy to accept.

Some king...

He owned notorious liar Chris Kyle and was in the best movie ever made “Predator”, that’s enough for me!

I’m critical of the ppl who cut me a check every damn day! I say much worse things about them! Their money still spends! (Mostly on mma parlays where I get f***ed by judges!)

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that as of August 12th the WWE hasn't officially signed Brian Pillman Jr. yet as they are still waiting to get the results of his medical exam.

What is Asuka doing? She is tweeting through something right now.
Apparently she is telling off the trolls on twitter.

She seems tired of people telling her to leave WWE and to go back to Japan. Part of that seems to be that wrestlers don't always agree when fan's claim they are "buried"

She also really really doesn't seem to like Stardom as an organization

Also seems like her family has settled really well in Florida. I would not be surprised if she stays there after retirement to become Sara Amato's right hand woman at the PC.

Normally you'd interpret comments like those from a wrestler as bitterness... But she's pretty much never spoken out like that and everybody seems to regard her as one of the biggest company woman/nicest person on the roster.

So she probably ain't lying.

Her manifesto was famous if you were following the joshi scene back then and it's pretty well known there is a lot of shady shit in the joshi and idol scene over in Japan.

Idk if her statement that Stardom was literally created to destroy her is true, but she definitely was not well liked by joshi power players for her statements back then.

I think it got dug up because people keep telling her she should go back to wrestle in Japan and WWE is bad for her, and she is tired of hearing it.

Also it all started because a fan came at her for eating pineapple on pizza and she just went off

I'm curious what you mean by this. I didn't even know they ever had heat. Was it because Io was Stardom's top wrestler?

Asuka and Io used to be a tag team in NEO, but Io eventually got courted and left for Stardom.

Asuka has legit real life heat with some of Stardom's founders, specifically Takahashi and i guess Stardom itself based on her tweets

So the thought is she felt betrayed by Io

They seem to be fine now, she had to in order to team with Kairi. I’d like to hear what her beef is with Stardom and whatever other promotions she doesn’t like though.
