All Purpose 2025 Scoreboard/Standings Watching Thread

With just over a month left, we're seeing more and more scoreboard and standings watching, so figured t was time for this annual thread... as games remaining dwindle, I'll add magic/tragic numbers too. For now, I will stick with teams +/- 5 points of the Flames in the standings. So a this point, that will be the Kings, Blues, Canucks and the team that shall not be named (because they don't have a name). For schedules, I'll do 2 weeks at a time and then add/delete teams that enter/exit that 5 point threshold.

I think it’ll be down to us and Vancouver for WC2 spot. Moneypuck has us at 27.5% and Vancouver at 44.5 %so odds are not in our favour. Game Wednesday is huge

I'm not completely shocked, I didn't think LA would make the playoffs this year and Minny has been pretty f***ed without Kaprizov.

It's 4 in 6... but the good thing about that is the final 3, they can stay at the same hotel all the way through... the 3 arenas are literally within a 20km radius.

Whoops, a miscount on my part. It’s a good point that they won’t have very far to go in between them. Hopefully the Cansucks drop their next two before our game on Wednesday, might catch a period or two tonight to see that new Stars lineup.

The Stars are up 1-0 about halfway through the game, but they have not looked very good vs. a Cansucks squad playing without Quinn.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll gladly take a Stars win however they have to come by it. But if their third period is anything like the first two, they sure asf won’t deserve it lol

The Cansucks scored two in the third to come within a goal with half a period to go, but the Habs pot an empty-netter to take it 4-2. This is as good of a scenario as we could have hoped for to pull away in the WC, big two points tomorrow.
