As a certified Sharks fan, you are prone to bouts of hallucinations. I wouldn’t think much of it.So I just had a dream where they picked Eiserman at #14. I'm sure this means something.

I am still worried. Seems too good to be true.Sometimes I catch myself still not believing we are actually getting Celebrini!
Macklin will announce the pickthey're just going to go up there and draft Celebrini a second time. Just to hammer it home.
Not confirmed but seems like the rumor is that Celebrini is leaving BU.
Ah yes, actually, contrary to my previous comment of Celebrini picking himself at #1, on the 14th pick Celebrini will come to the podium to remind everyone he got picked #1 and then pick ehrm, who was it anyway, ah yes Eisermack Colibrini or whoever..they're just going to go up there and draft Celebrini a second time. Just to hammer it home.
We aren't, we are selecting Iginla 1st.Sometimes I catch myself still not believing we are actually getting Celebrini!
I know everyone’s a bit a lower on Eiserman but I really feel like there’s no way for Grier to mess up this pick.So I just had a dream where they picked Eiserman at #14. I'm sure this means something.

Eiserman - elite scoring prospect that was rated in the top 3 to start the year
MBN - looks to be a very good power forward type for years to come
Jiricek - playing in a top league and looking passable to good, would give us that two way RHD we need
Sadly the way it is going and the way he is talked about Ferraro looks to be a candidate also.I was just thinking, is Celebrini the most likely next captain? If Couture ends up being on the team in any capacity for the rest of his term I would say ridiculously likely, if not then what?

To me those are the three most obvious picks there. Anything else I mean our scouts showed last year they are pretty damn good, getting arguably the best player in the NCAA this year, a very very good wing prospect, a dude who just had 17 goals in 18 games or whatever it was in the playoffs, a dman that just had the best scoring season in his league in a very long time. I trust the scouts.
I have a sickening feeling Kunin is going to get the C.I was just thinking, is Celebrini the most likely next captain? If Couture ends up being on the team in any capacity for the rest of his term I would say ridiculously likely, if not then what?

I don’t know why sadly. He doesn’t have to be your best player, just someone who exemplifies leadership. I think Mario would be a fantastic captain.Sadly the way it is going and the way he is talked about Ferraro looks to be a candidate also.
I was merely saying it seems relatively possible Couture doesn't finish out his contract as a Shark, so just speculating if we'd see anybody as a stop gap mostly. I'm not a huge fans of giving players under 20 the C, but it honestly seems to work out for those that do so what do I knowCelebrini is obviously going to be the next captain. How is this even a debate?
I doubt they'll give Celebrini the captaincy right away but I'm sure he'll be captain by the end of his ELC.I was merely saying it seems relatively possible Couture doesn't finish out his contract as a Shark, so just speculating if we'd see anybody as a stop gap mostly. I tend to agree. My guess is that if Couture is healthy, he'll keep it until he's traded which would be at the deadline in 2025-26 at the earliest. If he's not healthy, I would guess that they'd give the C to Granlund and then when he's traded at the deadline, let it rotate, and then give it to Celebrini to start next season which would still make him the youngest captain in NHL history. Otherwise, if they don't feel like he's ready, Zetterlund would make a suitable captain for a time while Celebrini develops more in that area. Though it doesn't sound like he really needs all that much time.I doubt they'll give Celebrini the captaincy right away but I'm sure he'll be captain by the end of his ELC.
This is the most encouraging thing. After years of Wilson getting relatively little out of the draft, having your first three picks from last year's draft looking like they can help you at the NHL level is a welcome change.Anything else I mean our scouts showed last year they are pretty damn good, getting arguably the best player in the NCAA this year, a very very good wing prospect, a dude who just had 17 goals in 18 games or whatever it was in the playoffs, a dman that just had the best scoring season in his league in a very long time. I do wanna say that after all the hand-wringing I did over the Halttunen pick, looking back at the draft order there aren’t that many guys I’d really want over him at this point. Augustine, Strbak, maybe Unger Sorum? This is the most encouraging thing. A year after they were drafted everyone from Merkley to Kniazev to Wiesblatt to Bordeleau to Coe "looked like they could help us at the NHL level" too, at least according to people here. This is the most encouraging thing. Well considering all of the good Dmen will likely be gone by 14th Grier will likely take BAP at 14 though Esierman could fall to the 2nd round which would be a steal with the 33rd pick. Of course Grier could trade upSo I just had a dream where they picked Eiserman at #14. I'm sure this means something.
I have to imagine there are some guys you'd see Halttunen jumping over who were drafted ahead of him, too?I do wanna say that after all the hand-wringing I did over the Halttunen pick, looking back at the draft order there aren’t that many guys I’d really want over him at this point. I don’t think Smith is leaving college this year after his world championship tournament, it would be ideal if they both came into the league together thoughIt’s going to be interesting to see how his decision and Smith’s decision come together…
