Marner has made more smart plays this game than many players make in a season. He’s so good at pace and doesn’t waste time. It’s an illusion sometimes you think he’s going to look for a play and use space he’s earned but then he just passes the puck to somebody open.

Another hard checking period in The 2nd. Still tied up. This game should go down to the wire. Brady Tkachuck, who I have trouble believing has never played in an NHL playoff game, is making a heavy impact on this series. Matthew is, as well. I had been hoping for several years that The Blues could sign them as free agents. But The Blues haven't had the cap space, and didn't have a good-looking near future that would help them want to sign with The Blues, even if they would have had enough cap room to make competitive bids. Maybe after they are over 30 years old it will happen.
