Whoever is right or wrong, it is obvious once again that Tony cannot get his house in order. Whether it’s because he’s stretched too thin, or has the wrong people doing it, dumb shit keeps happening, and he’s ultimately responsible. He is extremely fortunate that Collision materialized when it did.
Like it or not, CM Punk holds more cards than people want him to. It’s that way for a reason. Not dissimilar to people like Lesnar in WWE where not all the rules (perhaps any) apply. Punk is a big deal to the network. If he gets forced out, it’s going to reflect poorly on AEW even if some fans or talent would be happy about it. Everyone’s here to make money and there will be less of it without Punk. New TV rights deal is coming, so get your act together.
