I think him finally being a face because of trusting Adam Cole while also still being "Our scumbag" is really cool. I'm interested to see what happens if Cole betrays him.

I do like the storyline, but they've changed his character just to fit the storyline. I loved the ruthless heal character. I'd honestly argue that it's the best character since Austin/Rock.

I think it is more so they changed his character because he is ridiculously over with the crowd. He is still doing heel shit but he is doing face promo work getting his catchphrases in. I think his sweet spot is going to be the asshole that the crowd cheers. It is going to be tough to make crowds boo him long term. I also think face MJF opens up like a whole new slate of potential feuds for him. MJF and Jay White would be absolute money. Hell with Starks turning you could dip back into that feud again.

I can see that. I think someone mentioned being an Eddie Guerro-type character...cheered for being bad.

Regardless if he's cheered or not, I just want that heel energy he had. I don't see it in this storyline. He even made stupid post-pressers must see.

MJF has changed his character in a really logical, progressive way. He’s learned what real friendship is. He’s made people give a shit about him Even with the goofy skits. And it only makes sense to learn what betrayal is after he learned how to trust.
I don’t think this storyline is pandering at all. It’s been amazing.

MJF as a heal was boring as shat. MJF as a heel was a cheap knockoff of heel Punk. Since Punk is likely turning full heel in the near future, we don't need two of that type of characters. Cole turning on MJF makes more sense than MJF. Cole can reunite with Elite and have a prolong story of MJF chasing after Cole. ASP in this storyline, Wardlow can make an appearance.

What I am saying is that I do not need or want a heel MJF right now.

This is what I don't like. Goofy skits and him learning friendship. There's a ton of wrestlers in both factions pandering to the crowd. Heal MJF was different.

Yeah, I'll totally disagree, here. MJF was a ruthless, cocky heal. Best promos around. Absolutely nothing like Punk. Punk is just a whiny bitch who pouts when he doesn't get his way.

I won't go so far as to say he's boring, but I don't find face MJF all that unique at all.
 
Also, happy for the European fans tomorrow. Selfishly sad that I have shit to do and can't waste daylight on a Sunday afternoon watching wrestling!

It kind of works for me lol buy the show, do all the shit I gotta do during the day and I can watch the show as I want in the evening and not have to stay up until 1am to watch the whole thing lol

They were hoping that the Collision and Rampage shows would be so good that wrestling fans would be convinced that signing up for their streaming service would be worth $8/month or $80/year. I'm betting that this plan probably failed miserably.

By the way - I sent in another e-mail to TSN a couple of weeks ago asking about Collision and Rampage returning to regular TV and TSN sent a response which was nothing but an advertisement for TSN+. Here is part of their response:
