And credit to the UK wrestling fans. A decent number of those 75k will see better watching a screen than watching the ring however they are choosing to be part of the event and support the wrestling industry.

Well today is certainly a sad day for AEW fans.

According to a new report, Granden Goetzman, also known as Trench, is no longer a part of All Elite Wrestling.

Some fans recently noticed that Trench had been removed from AEW’s roster page on the company’s official website. Trench has not appeared on AEW TV in several months; Fightful Select reported that he was sidelined with an injury back in March. He and Parker Boudreaux have both been out of action, and they were seemingly removed from Mogul Affiliates.

Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Trench’s deal with AEW has expired, so he is not with the company anymore.

In June, Fightful Select reported that AEW sources indicated that there were no immediate plans for Boudreaux and Trench. The duo teamed up with Swerve Strickland to form Mogul Affiliates, and the faction debuted on the December 21, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite, where they attacked Keith Lee. Boudreaux and Trench remained part of the feud until they went down with their respective injuries.

In their absence, Strickland went on to merge the group with The Embassy, which includes ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun.

I seem to recall an episode of Rampage shortly after Keith Lee returned where Swerve talked about not being able to find or get ahold of Trench and insinuated that Lee did something to him. Then it never came up again. I think Boudroux disappeared a couple weeks later after he looked like crap in that Dustin/Lee vs Swerve/Parker tag match.

Trench and Boudroux were pretty much replaced by The Embassy, which coincidentally came right after AEW finally got Brian Cage back under contract.

I'm guessing since his contract was up and he wasn't doing much, they just let it expire.

Swerve needs to catch a break and get a W one of these days. He's too good to keep losing to OC and company.

That segment with MJF and Cole was awesome. Just the right amount of corniness, cheese, and (maybe) a bit of story telling.

Now.... I'm not advocating for the imminent break up of the Acclaimed. Everyone loves The Acclaimed afterall. But when the time comes, I am so ready for an Anthony Bowens singles push. That dude has nearly everything he needs and could be an insanely great face, especially considering good faces are something AEW desperately needs.
