Getting Danielson to main event at the Tokyo Dome likely a pretty good way to make it go down easier. I don't see anyway that doesn't happen now.cant believe NJPW okay'd okada tapping out lol.

I mean the booking has been pretty fair to both companies so far. Where has New Japan been taken advantage of? New Japan gets a ridiculous amount of value out of running that match back in Japan. It's not really an equal partnership. AEW gets to call the shots and NJPW has to take it because they have zero inroads in America otherwise.
Yep got to be a trilogy….Have Okada win the 2nd one in Japan and then have the rubber match main event their 2024 Wembley-esque event
Could even do the 2nd one in Japan in 2024 and then the rubber match in 2025…if Danielson plans on being around that long

Who has been jobbed out though? Sanada essentially squashed JB in one of the shortest IWGP heavyweight matches ever. Ishii is actually presented better in AEW then he is in New Japan at this point. Both Shibata and ZSJ were protected in the 4 way match. I mean end of the day in a relationship like this obviously someone from one of the companies has to take the pin....but the facts just flat out do not back up what you are saying. AEW is the big bro in this partnership but neither side has been taken advantage of here. They have to constantly job their guys out for these shows.
They do it because Covid absolutely devastated Japanese wrestling from a business perspective and it still hasn't fully recovered
The one thing they got out of last night is they now have a US champ that will actually defend the belt.
Bryan said in the press conference he broke his right forearm 10 minutes into the match. The main event was disappointing considering who was in the match.
Bryan admitted he was hurt going in so that might he why.
I don't like tapping Okada out at all. Even if Bryan wasn't hurt they wouldn't have done anything with that heat on the weekly shows because Bryan is too selfless and doesn't want to be a main attraction or a title holder.
Omega/Osprey was way way better, though I did not like that Tiger Driver spot. Those two are so talented, they don't need to be necking each other. Especially Kenny who has had vertigo problems in the past.
Ospreay is a free agent soonEverything else in the match was close to perfect.
They need more Ospreay in AEW.

He pretty much said he doesn't want to leave Japan...I'm sure if TK throws enough money at him..Ospreay is a free agent soon

I loved the show, only gripe I have is Callis coming back out and ref doing nothing about it...
Everyone was presented well and matches all were really good
