It is funny how the dirtsheets are a bunch of rags.....except for those times they happen to paint the Elite in a negative light. Those times? We are okay with them in those times. I think Meltzer and Bryan oversold the story in a pretty massive way before it came out. It makes sense though all this Punk/Elite drama has made them a boatload of money I am sure.

I think Punk is a petty asshole, that the Elite are babies and that the dirtsheets are not thourough in their reporting.

All of those things can be true. We also know the Bucks talk to Dave. So it might be first hand. But, yeah, the way the dirtsheet were talking, you were expecting huge shots being taken. It is evidently not the case.

The more that comes out about it, it really does seem like a case where if there was even like a modest amount of communication this entire thing could have been avoided. That is ultimately on Tony as he seemingly banished Cabana away from TV taping for Punk without asking Punk about it....which lead people in the back to assume Punk was behind it. There are like multiple points in here where people could have and should have talked and didn't. At the very least Punk did say he was in the wrong for the press conference because that is the one thing that is 100% and without doubt on him and made this entire thing 10x bigger then it ever would have been otherwise. If they can ever get all of them in a room together I honestly think they could figure it out after reading the article.

Tony has to force them to be in a room and hash it out. Heck, it should have happened the following day.

lol. What else is there to say? All those wrestling 'news' people reporting about people being upset at Dynamite based on second hand accounts of what was supposedly in the interview. Either the second hand accounts were inaccurate, the ones upset are big babies or no one was upset and AEW is continuing to work people simply for clicks and free PR. There's nothing in that article that should upset anyone. Listening to Homer above, he is right, if people were upset about the interview then he works with f***ing children who hold grudges. Unless they have texts or an audio recording of Punk asking/telling TK to banish Cabana from AEW television then who knows why he was demoted. Maybe Cabana is old without anything memorable during his matches or mic time and Dark/ROH is where he belongs. Punk takes a chop to the chin or face. Whether it was or wasn't intentional, it did happened. This whole thing is dumb. I can't believe grown men could be so petty and butt hurt about something where the final blowup occurred over nine months ago.

Who keeps asking for Jim Ross to do more commentary?

No one however doesn't everyone want more expert analysis from Jim Ross, lol. If JR needs money maybe TK could pay him for voiceovers that can be done from the comfort of his own home and any mistakes resolved by doing another take. I would be happy to not have him anywhere near the commentary desk.

Yeah that interview wasn't as big as people made it out to be. Punk seems to be saying his side of the story.

Only thing is I hope he's lying about them never using this in a rivalry. Punk/FTR vs. The Elite and as an extension Punk vs. Omega would be amazing matches.

Next weeks Dynamite is airing live in Japan and New Japans tour ends this weekend. I would imagine there is going to be a lot of New Japan talent kicking around the taping next week lol

I think Omega/Okada vs. Danielson/Ospreay would be a great tag match to do on the go home show of Dynamite (Or Collision). Omega/Okada's recent alliance earlier this year and Danielson endorsing Ospreay on the most recent show makes me think that could be a perfect teaser main event.

MJF does not have bad matches.
I just started watching wrestling again after a long hiatus… started with AEW about two months ago…. I cannot believe how awesome he is. I know a lot of ppl can’t stand him but he’s a brilliant heel and the dude can absolutely flat out wrestle.

That said, I was also really impressed with Hangman, some outstanding spots and terrific stamina

Tony Khan has confirmed the broadcast team for AEW Collision.

The AEW CEO announced that Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Kelly will be the weekly commentary team, and they will be joined by expert analysis from Jim Ross.

Ugly hermaphrodite Kevin Kelly?
