He seems more threatening if you call him The Hangman instead of Hangman, Hangman Page, Hangman Adam Page, etc.

Finally a woman to neutralize Marina!

Why is wheeler yellow? Does half the roster have jaundice? He looks like a Simpson

Moxley and Wheeler with attempted 1st degree murder, Darby with at least a reckless driving and assault with a deadly weapon charge if not possibly attempted murder. Deathriders then commit a car jacking

Somebody call the national guard!!!

Definitely more uncertainty this year. Okada is a logical guy to get to the finals to drop the belt, but Fletcher is in the midst of a big push. Ricochet could really use the rub, but Ospreay.

Most looking forward to Darby-Ospreay.

Me when Shelton loses :( :( :(

I would imagine this ends with Fletcher-Ospreay 2

That’s a sick CC roster though. Gonna be some bangers

Ospreay/Darby is also the block match I'm most excited for.

Ospreay/Ricochet 2 most likely with a less shitty finish than last time should be dynamite.

Okada/Fletcher 2, Okada/Benjamin, Benjamin/Fletcher are all very interesting

Darby/Brody will fight forever

Mortos

and I'm scratching the surface. I can't wait.

MAYBE it's me, but looking at the roster I'd swap out one of the three that participated last year(either Mark or Claudio)for Buddy Matthews. Hologram should also be in the mix. I'm not sure why Garcia is in the mix this year, considering that he and Swerve benefited the most from the Classic last year(Swerve more than Daniel, obviously....AND Daniel's got a TNT title to defend.

ANY match Shelton is in is going to go hard. Darby & Brody is going to be a flat-out bump fest/war. (I'd rather Darby NOT be in it this year, either, considering that he's in the Deathriders angle.)

I can see this ending in with either Fletcher/Ospreay 2, or Okada/Ospreay. Kyle's got the proverbial rocket strapped to him now, so any of those three make sense to win the title.

This is the year to push Brody...let's see what he can do...

But yeah I think Claudio and Darby are unnecessary since they are part of the big feud

And I do agree Garcia just won his title, it's possible that this sours the crowd a bit on him

Some big names could lead to interesting matches. I wonder if the time limit draw will be seen more often. I agree that Garcia is a bit odd with him just winning the title but if TK doesn't have any immediate booking plans for him at least he's regularly on TV with the title but will look a little weak if he loses. I was going to say maybe one of his first matches will be Okada or Fletcher and Perry will interfere costing him the match then I remembered there isn't supposed to be any interference so who knows. It would be a Scapegoat thing to do, especially in an Okada v Garcia match since interference is supposed to be prohibited. Maybe it leads to Perry being suspended from AEW for the remainder of the tournament to ensure he doesn't interfere in any future matches.

Over the past week, the current seating map changed significantly, with many seats removed and numerous sections becoming untrackable. While it was unclear if the map was in transition, there have been no further changes since then, and it now shows limited ticket availability.

The show was originally scheduled to take place at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, AU. Initial VIP sales were encouraging but after that, much of the map was still available in large quantities of available tickets.

Selfishly I always prefer shows in indoor arenas. Crowd sounds better and makes for a better atmosphere in my opinion.

Stadium shows are cool and all, but I'll always prefer a packed arena.

I appreciate their ambition of going for an Australia show, but you're not gonna succeed on every leap of faith you take. It is what it is.
